Rv camping with dogs
This place is adorable, from the way that it’s decorated, maintained and has a communal feel. The staff was very friendly and warm. The rates are very fair. We really liked it and will come back. The only thing that wasn’t perfect for us was the distance to the beach access, having a dog that isn’t able to walk far due to a past knee surgery, and having small children with us, closer would have been better.

Overall was a nice place to camp, nice central area and fire pit. Unfortunately all the campsites are close to the fire pit and there were no enforced quiet hours while we were there, so it definitely can get loud at night. The other thing that I didn’t realize was that there isn’ta direct route to the beach from this property, it is probably a good 10 minute walk to the bridge to the beach, but it ended up being ok 😊

Our family went for clam digging, and it’s super convenient to get to Copalis beach and Morocks. The sites are a bit close to each other, but we were lucky that there were no neighbors during our stay. The innkeeper Kayla was kind enough to accommodate our early check in as well, which helped us a lot.

Cute and Quiet
Great little spot for exploring the area from Ocean shores up to Seabrook and Moclips. As others have noted, the RV spots are small, but we came when it wasn’t busy and noticed that some are different sizes. They let us pick from any that were available, and all had full hookups, a picnic table and a fire pit. The atmosphere is cute with the tiny houses and glamping platform tents, and the bathhouse was clean and nice! We mostly were out exploring but it was a nice place to come back to in the evenings. Would definitely stay again.

Great site! This camp location was a great find, reasonable price, and very clean. Definitely would return in the future. Really cool layout with Park Models, cabins, yurts, tent sites, and RV sites with full hookups! Kudos.

Great time!
The innkeepers, Matthew & Morgan, were absolutely amazing. They have a very sweet story, are super friendly, and are attentive, making sure you have everything you need. The setup is clean and well organized with a community fire pit area and giant sandbox, with Jenga! And a clean modern bathroom/shower area. The only downside (which is common in the area) is poor cell and Wi-Fi signal. Don’t plan on working while there if you need an internet connection. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at the park. The host and hostess, Matt and Morgan were GREAT! They were friendly, quick to respond, and simply a nice couple. We like that we could buy firewood at the campground, and they delivered it to the site. LOVED the fire pit. It was HUGE and had lots of features. Spots were tight, but my husband is great at backing in, so it was ok...but VERY tight to other campers and angling in...in general. The bathrooms were VERY clean and so was the campground. The walk to the beach was only about 10-15 minutes. We really liked that they had a communal BBQ for us to use. I forgot to bring our small BBQ, so it was a nice surprise to have the BBQ to use. We will defiantly be back to the campground. Thank you for a memorable stay.

My son and I brought our Great Dane with us and had a blast. Great cabin and beautiful beaches. Next time we are going to rent a tiny house or a tent cabin. I would recommend this to campers of all types.

A cool alternative spot that is fun
Great place to stay while in the Pacific Beach area. Just a short drive north to Seabrook and south to Ocean shores. Lots of beach access roads in the area as well. The weekend was crowded, as expected, since all of the RV parks are very congested here. During the week, it's nice and mellow. The innkeepers, Matthew and Morgan, are fantastic, accessible, and friendly. The central play area is great for kids as it has a gigantic sandbox and toys for them to play and visible from every spot. Recommend this spot, it was fun.

No tent camping.
Shouldn’t be advertised as a tent option. The spaces are either too gravely, not enough space between sewage pipes, or a tent and a table won’t both fit!!

Coastal FHU RV Site
This is a nice campground and the campground hosts were very attentive and helpful. The bath and shower facilities are very nice and clean. Unfortunately the spaces per RV are pretty small. We have a 19' trailer and there wasn't room to park our car with the trailer. We had to park across the campground. A bit of an inconvenience. If we want to go camping in the area we'd probably return, but ask for a larger campsite.

RV spots are WAY too close together and not long enough to park with the RV. Thankfully, the host was able to place campers every other spot and allowed us to park in the next spot over. RV was in #4, truck in 3); however, on a busy weekend, the camp would be full. We would have had to park somewhere else. To put in perspective, if someone would have had a camper right beside us, their slide-out would have been practically blocking our door; the grass partitions between sites are maybe 24". Additionally, had someone been in that spot, I would have had to wait until they left, to hook up and leave. The bathroom building, for the tiny homes and cottages, is a trucks length from the pad. I had to drive over the adjoining RV pad to leave, or I would have been pointed straight at the bathroom, with maybe 2 feet in front of me. We we're unlucky in our neighbors as they felt inclined to blast their music, which again, is only maybe 4 feet from our trailer. (They parked their cars in 5, RV in 6.) They were playing their car stereos loud enough for our spot #1 neighbors acknowledge the annoyance with loud expletives, and we had to ask them to turn the music down, after about 15 minutes of hoping the host might. I'm not a music nazi either, I'm all for getting down, but it was ridiculously loud. The park is not great to look at. Grass was all dead, and not well maintained. Only saving grace was the short 10 minute drive Ocean Shores.

Couples Glamping
Do NOT stay here! We drove 6 hours with our toddler to stay in their canvas tents and there was a 20 inch hole in the tent door - the tents are right next to a busy driveway (mere feet) and there were cars coming and going at all times of night. We were terrified that our daughter would wake up and left the next morning. Host would not refund the pet deposit or unused time - disgraceful. It is obvious they couldn't care less about safety or experience. Also this is not a hipcamp... It is an RV Park - there are RV sites, tiny houses, canvas tents and tent camping all tight together (again...mere feet). Camp manger seemed cool but his wife/girlfriend verbally assaulted my wife because our little dog got out of the tent (because of the hole)...and yet they offered no help to fix the hole or let us use a space that was not dangerous even though there were multiple other tent available. Do NOT stay here unless you want to throw your money away and be frustrated. We have hipcamped all over the PNW and this experience makes me want to puke.

Great for groups with or w/out RV
Had a great time at the Pacific Dunes Resort and would recommend this to others looking for a place that offers both RV spots as well as cabins for those members of your party who may not have a trailer or RV. They have bathroom with hot water, community patio with a sand pit and deck with patio furniture, firepit and BBQ. The couple that managed the place were very nice and accommodating, they were there to answer questions and guidance. The cons: It's about a 20 min walk through a neighborhood to the beach although you could drive there. The RV spots water hookups and sewer are pretty far from the parking. The power is located on the opposite side of the trailer so be sure to have a long enough cable. The sewer line is located directly under the picnic table.
