There is a very nice swimming hole that has a very good shallow place for younger kids and a deep hole that you could snorkel up river for 1000' or go the other way and float the river for about 5 miles of very manageable river to the next boat launch.
The campsite is basic with a 4' metal fire ring and several spots for tents and tables there is a Porta-Potty. We sell fire wood by the garden trailer full for $25.00 and usually lasts for two days
