There are no motor boats on the lake, so the paddling and swimming is great. This 150-acre property has been in our family for 32 years and now houses three generations. Built in 1900 it was a traditional dairy farm until the 50's and 60's when potatoes were planted on the fields for the Boston and New York markets. By the 70's and 80's it became a gentleman's farm for a retired couple from New York City and the dairy farmers nearby hayed the fields. When we purchased the property in 1993 we continued offering the hay, built greenhouses, planted vegetable and flower gardens, ran a traditional Bed and Breakfast, now airbnb. We leased some of the fields to a local organic seed company for 13 years until they purchased their own property. The farm remains certified organic and is still being hayed by a local dairy farm, the gardens are community managed using regenerative and sustainable practices when ever possible. In the commercial garden, seed crops are being planted once again. Much of the cultivated agricultural land is protected under the Vermont Land Trust, to ensure that it remains used for agricultural purposes. We love to share our farm and forest with others. In addition to our very intentional farming operations, you can find wild edibles tucked away on forest trails. Wildlife and wildflowers abound. Views and sunsets. Check out the 968 acre wildlife management area that abuts the property. Plenty of trails through the woods leading to Wolcott Pond and hidden beaver huts and dams. Children 12 and under no charge. Weekend Trip to Woodbury Meadows

Jon was most accommodating and a wealth of local information. He loaned us an electric heater for our camper so we didn't have to use the noisy one installed. The driveway was a bit daunting for backing up but we did it without too much effort. There's a great hike with waterfalls on the property and a cute cafe close by with good food and live music. The bathrooms were the cleanest and nicest I have seen camping! We will definitely return!

Great site with close proximity to Stowe. Seamless check-in; we just confirmed we had arrived. Host was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Others have pointed out that there are houses surrounding the site. I had read the reviews so this was no surprise. We angled our van so that we had the mountain views. I would camp here again.

Beautiful campsites on a hill overlooking the valley. Each site had a covered picnic table, tent platforms, electricity, and a sink. Bathhouse with hot water was a real treat. Hosts were communicative and helpful. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location, accommodating and welcoming hosts. Very nice clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry! Best I've ever seen at a camp ground. Sites are pretty private with their own sink and tent. It is in the middle of nowhere but pretty easy to find off the main road. Dog friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Alexia has a large field with super views, very quiet. A lovely walk through the woods to the Brook which is wonderful. Walking trails around. Super easy to keep in touch with Alexia for instructions and information. Had a wonderful couple of nights.

Weekend Trip to Smugglers Notch RV Village

Perfect location if you plan on visiting surrounding cities, like Stowe. Camp site was well taken care of. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave several recommendations for activities and dining ahead of the visit for planning. All around really nice dude! Multiple showers/flushable toilets available. Dog friendly. Many guests but was very quiet, which was great. Bathroom could be a bit cleaner/welcoming...but it is camping and I'm always grateful just to have access to utilities. Over all, nice stay.

This is our second time visiting. Alexia is a wonderful host, responsive to questions and helpful with suggestions on what’s going on that weekend. The maple syrup is amazing! We bought 3 bottles… definitely recommend this camp!

Jon and Ann were fantastic hosts! Such lovely people and such a great camp spot. There are great trails right on the property that wind through some beautiful woods, as well as longer trails around the quaint and peaceful neighborhood. Jon and Ann shared great recommendations for nearby activities and made us feel at home.

Weekend Trip to Singing Wood Farm

Alexia's property was very nice and clean. Surrounded by hills and plenty of trees. We had two picnic tables at our designated area along with a fire pit. Wood was readily available to purchase at the little round the clock store along with products from the farm and some camping items. Would definitely return!
