This property overlooking the beautiful Connecticut river (no access to) has two cabins to choose from, one sleeps two people and the other can accommodate three. The property is such a peaceful spot! We have a rustic outhouse and showers can be taken in the main farmhouse on the property if you would like, available Monday thru Saturday from 8am to 9am. So that means Sunday's are not available or evening's. The cabin is outfitted with a comfy bed, fridge, and microwave and AC unit. We sell firewood to sit around a cozy campfire at night and stargaze! You can even purchase a S'mores package as well! Enjoy a cup of coffee from the Keurig machine in the mornings. Bottled water is included as well and placed in your fridge upon arrival. Potable water also easily accessible. We will do our best to make you feel at home away from home. In a way that is never intrusive, we respect your privacy. Come and unwind with nature all around you. We are very pet friendly! And ask that all dogs are on a leash while outside. Also pets are not to be left in the cabins unattended at any time. So with all that said get yourself and your pets here and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on your deck looking out to the river. Don't set an alarm, the loons or geese may wake you first!  Listen to the birds and relax!  And if luck is with you, you might spot a bald eagle!   Want to play with goats? We have them! Come say hi to Sam and Frodo! Fresh eggs are available for sale! And yes the price has been for years and is still $4.00 a dozen!! Hiking trails are nearby including Groton State Forest, hiking near Willoughby Lake is only about 45 minutes away and is worth the trip! Come experience the green mountains and we are not far from the White mountains of NH.

The building on site is also the home to Middle Branch Collaborative, a non-profit corporation, that is dedicated to enriching our community by creating a place we can gather and nourish each other through food, education and support. Being a place where community is more important that profit and we can cultivate self-sufficiency on every level. Just steps away from the cabins Middle Branch Collaborative will have coffee and breakfast sandwiches available for purchase as well as muffin, baked good, grab and go salads, sandwiches and dinners. We can also coordinate food orders, forging or harvesting experiences. The cabins are nestled in the middle of an Unconventional Homestead Project, adding to the uniqueness of your stay. While these cabins are technically located in a parking lot you will soon see its anything but a conventional one. Within the fenced in area, you will find rabbits, goats and chickens a series of raised gardens and some permaculture projects. We are situated on the second branch of the White River with river access it's a great spot to swim and play or wash up. We look forward to meeting you and having you enjoy our unique space as much as we do.

The Hide-a-Way is a hand built camper on wheels just over one mile from downtown Montpelier. Very convenient location for visiting the country's smallest capital city. Located in Central Vermont it is a short drive to many outdoor activities, hiking, biking, mountain biking, swimming holes, Wrightsville Reservoir for canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding etc. Privately situated up and behind the small main house. Located in a sparsely populated residential area. The Hide-a Way is a glamping experience with many amenities which include electric kettle, French Press coffee maker, dish soap, dishes, glassware and silverware for 2, coffee, tea, hot chocolate are provided as well as towels, bed is made up with 100% cotton bedding. There are 2 outdoor solar shower bags. A small fridge in the nearby garage. Cast iron fire pit, firewood provided. Weber BBQ grill with utensils. Charcoal not provided. Many board games.

We have an acre of land in the Vermont countryside that is just off a country road tucked away and surrounded by trees. Our tiny house, primarily made from recycled materials and totally off the grid, is a great way to get away from the world and all the hustle and bustle of modern life. Learn how to be resourceful and use solar power, rain catchment, and a compost toilet while you are one with nature. You will be basically camping with a hot shower, beds, cookstove, and a fireplace. There are many hiking and biking trails nearby, waterholes and lakes, and of course you are within a half hour drive of Jay Peak resort and four minutes from Lake Carmi State Park. Cell reception is limited in this area of Vermont. There is no internet access in the property as well. There is a town 7 miles away with most of the basic necessities of life. MInimum stay is three nights.

If you have been looking and want to experience staying in a Tiny House, here is your chance! Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable 6-acre escape. Imagine waking up in the morning, sipping coffee and looking at the peaks of the Mountains in the distance -Canon, Lafeyette, Wheeler Hill, are just a few you will see. Later, walk a 1/4 mile to the reservoir to swim, fish, and kayak! This is an established birding area. Eagles and Ospreys fly overhead. At night, light the fire pit, cook some food on the grill, and possibly see the wildlife. At night, look up at the stars, very little light pollution here! Wake up in the morning and enjoy your coffee. Deer usually walk around in the wee hours. The property has solar lights, a solar security camera, and plenty of parking for your boat or ATV. The ATV trail is 400 ft away from the driveway. Moore Reservoir is 1/4 mile away with a boat ramp and swim recreation area. Convient location This property is quiet and secluded, but only 10 minutes from Lancaster and Littleton, NH. Where will you sleep? A Deluxe posturpedic full-size pillow-top Murphy bed pulls down directly in front of the French wood doors. There is also a small loft area if needed. Two Velux skylights are above the bed. Every window looks out over the property and has views. Blackout Curtains on every window except skylights. Cooking- I have tried to include everything that will be needed in the kitchen to cook -Glasses, cutting board, utensils, French Press, percolator kettle, plates, etc. Cooking Tools are provided for the propane grill and charcoal smoker. I do not include coal for the grill. On board water tank and propane cooktop. Water will need to be filled with supplied washing water. Toilet and bathroom. There is an outdoor composting toilet that you can use. It is in an enclosure for privacy. Waste needs to be disposed of accordingly. Outdoor shower with hot water via propane. Small half bath inside the Tiny House to wash, etc Parking area.is large and you can drive up to the house. Power DC USB plugs provide power to charge a cellphone. DC-powered chest fridge. There is no 120-volt power from the street. if you have a generator, bring it. Bring bug spray for ticks, flashlight, etc.
