Glamping at it's best! Tiny off-grid cabin on 10 wooded acres less than 2 miles from the Canadian border. Simple kitchen in the screen porch. Explore the woods of the property, or go in to Richford- home of Olympian Ellie Poirier- and the surrounding towns to experience all there is to offer. 2.5 miles from the scenic Richford Country Club golf course; borrow canoes or kayaks for free from Richford Rec. to paddle the Northern Forest Canoe Trail; jump on the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail to walk or pedal across scenic pastures to visit quaint towns along the way and connect to other trails. Thanks to the Promise Communities Grant, loaner strollers and bikes are available through the Bike Share Program. The Arvin A Brown Library loans out snowshoes, xc skies, binoculars, bocce ball and more. Visit the world-famous Boston Post Dairy, or wander among the many sculptures at the Cold Hollow Sculpture Park. Catch live music at one of the area Farmer's Markets, tasting local honey, maple products, baked goods and produce or spend the day at the Jay Peak Pump house. Spoil yourself at the Salt Cave Spa in Montgomery and throw in a massage. Enjoy the parade and pancake breakfast at the St. Albans Maple Festival. Maple products can be purchased and sampled at one of the many sugarhouses, in the spring sample sugar on snow. Play Cow Plop Bingo at the Enosburg Dairy festival. Of course autumn brings all of the leaf-peeping and cider donuts anyone can ask for! Enjoy a creemee and a car show every third Thursday at the Pine Cone Snack Bar. Eat at one of the many local restaurants or spend the evening cooking over a fire while listening to the owls call to each other in the dark. Grocery, convenience stores, gas stations and liquor stores less than 5 miles away.Off-grid 10'x12' cabin up a hill on a remote 10 acre wooded lot, with large grassy clearing with picnic table, chairs and fire pit/grill.
