Tami was a fantastic host. She made us feel very welcome. She offers a lovely, private campsite with an amazing view and great access to Stowe and the nearby mountains. Her property is beautifully maintained and her wildflower gardens create an wonderful sense of peace and tranquility. I would definitely return and recommend it to others without any reservations.

Exceeded our expectations!
We arrived on a hot summer day
And immediately jumped into the swimming pond which isn’t large but deep enough to be over your head quickly, and with a great view of the mountains
Tami was an excellent host, providing us fresh, drinking water,and she gave us permission to pick raspberries to eat with our breakfast.
This little spot has the most epic view of Camel’s Hump! I was in love for the short time I stayed. Tami was super accommodating on short notice when I couldn’t find a place to stay on a busy Friday night during my Vermont road trip. Yes, it is in her backyard but it is elevated above the rest of the yard and feels quite private, with a barrier of greenery on both sides. The neighbors are quite a ways away. I hope to come back soon!

Great distance to Stowe & Waterbury and great views of the mountains. The site isnt very private as it sits behind the host's house and in front of another house.
I had a really nice chat with Tami when I arrived. The site was flat, shady in the afternoon, and private. The view was amazing, and it was dark and mostly quiet after sunset. There's a road nearby, but it's not used much and the lights from the cars don't make it through the trees. Easy to access in a Honda Fit. I had a very relaxing time and beat the extreme heat of that weekend sitting in the shade.
A meadow and some trees obscured the view from Tami's house, a neighbor's house, and the road, so it might be less private in winter and early spring when the plants are hibernating.

Despite a rainy night, I was still able to enjoy the beautiful view and relax. The host was very helpful and communicative as I was arriving later than expected and even offered the use of her barn when it started pouring. Thank you!

Tami’s property was exactly what I was looking for as I traveled through the Stowe/Waterbury area! Camping was lovely with 360 views of the mountains and trees. I was able to drive my car up and have a quiet stay. Tami and Parsha were a delight to meet. Tami let me book about ~20 minutes before check in and was very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this site!!

Couching Lion Field is an amazing Hipcamp spot! After a very long road trip, it was the perfect spot to pitch our tent and enjoy the phenomenal view. It feels extremely private as if you are in the middle of the mountains with no one around, but is a close drive to lots of things in the area. It was the perfect spot to unwind and relax at the end of a very long day. I'd love to stay here again!
By far this was one of the most beautiful hipcamp experiences we have had. Tami was such a wonderful host and we enjoyed talking with her. the camp spot was so perfect with gorgeous views out to the valley and camels hump mtn. the morning mist in the valley was picturesque. our favorite part was taking dips in the pretty little cattle pond below the campsite birds making sweet sounds and watching the sunset. A 10 for us in all categories.

What a great campsite and host! I would return! We were bike packing and Tami was very accommodating with all the water we needed and allowed us to recharge our phones etc. The views are magnificent, and she even offered to pick us up and give us a ride because we arrived after dark! Thumbs up! Very clean and beautiful site and property!
