- Campsite reservations open 11 months in advance, and all sites must be reserved a minimum of three days in advance.
- Campsites can book up fast, especially if visiting during peak season (April-Oct) or on holiday weekends. Aim to book at least three months in advance; more for cottages, cabins, and yurts.

French Creek State Park is open year-round, whether you’re heading to the lake in the summer months or sledding down the hillsides in winter. Trails can get busy through summer, but forest hikes are most magical in fall against a backdrop of colorful foliage. The main campground is open from March through the first weekend in January, while cabins and cottages can be booked throughout the year.
