Excellent place for noodling
This was my first ever time trying out hipcamp and it was such a delight!
This site was easy to find, but Michael made it even easier with great directions and even noticing when I got there and coming out to say hi (and introduce me to Wally the goat). Parking is about a 10-minute walk from the site, but they kindly provided wagons-- if you pack your things up into a couple of bags, that'll make packing up at the end quite easy.
I was worried about toilet paper because I forgot some (don't be, they've got you!), but make sure to wear pants or leggings for the walk over to the campsite if you happen to be allergic to every plant under the sun, like I forgot I was as a kid and apparently still am.
One 24-hour allergy-splotch later was nbd, especially because it was balanced out by an amazing night of sleep under all the fairy lights. If it's hot you should know there is a fan, but it didn't occur to me one was there because the weather happened to be perfect. I bundled up, listened to the stream, and actually did a pile of grad school homework because I felt so contemplative. Talk about being in the zone.
I'm terrible at throwing discs but my roommates aren't, so I'll have to bring them back with me to enjoy this lovely site. Thank you again for having me!
