Elevated Campsite with 4 person hub tent above a beautiful creek, firepit, grill and friendly goats. Don't be disturbed by the sound of moving water where wild mink, raccoon, foxes and deer play. Relax on the dock at the pond on the property. Unique plants abound. Majestic creekside views of small outcropping cliffs and enjoy its own swimming hole. The Creekside retreat is part of the 17 acre 1842 estate and original farm which is perched on the now abandoned road which led to Fort Northkill a century ago. You are nearby to hiking on the Appalachian trail, biking or boating at Blue Marsh Lake and Beach or tubing on the Schuylkill River and riding or hiking trail, visit mountain Biking Meccas of : Mt Penn, Blue Marsh Lake, Swatara State Park and Trexlertown. Many Local Wineries nearby, Although the tents' label and description are calculated as 4 person, it seems as though 4 persons would be tight in this 8 x 8 interior and 2 or 2 and youngster would be more comfortable..Creekside Elevated Treehouse style campsite is equipped with an 8Ft x 8Ft tent with lighted canopy with a fantastic view of the creek and it's running waters. Large stone outcropping cliff meets water's edge. Picnic table, and firepit with grilltop. Authentic communal outhouse is approximately 40 ft away. Pond and paddleboat are a short walk away. Camping here was so much fun! The tent was roomy with 2 nice air mattresses and a fan. The fire grill was perfect for cooking on and having a quiet night listening to the creek. Definitely would recommend a stay here.

It was my second stay here and it just as wonderful as the first! The hosts are so lovely and my two pups had such a wonderful time running around and swimming in the creek. We'll certainly be back!

We loved our stay in the creekside tree house! Our doggy didn't want to leave, and nearly made friends with the local goats (maybe next time). Our hosts were fantastic and extremely communicative. The property was gorgeous! We would definitely recommend and may also return in the future.

Had an awesome time camping here, the hosts were very accommodating and overall cool people. the stream next to the site is beautiful. The goats were cute but definitely keep anything out of reach if you don't want it chewed on.

My boyfriend and I had such a sweet time camping here! The site was just as described, and the hosts were helpful and responsive. We loved looking at the wildlife, getting ice cream from the nearby market, exploring the creek and taking a dip in the swimming hole, and cooking dinner at the campsite - everything was set up conveniently to do so! You’re close enough to a lot of hikes and attractions (we went to Hawk Mountain) but if you want just a getaway in the woods there’s enough to do there! We were greeted by four friendly bellhops - the goats - which made the site a fun and unique experience. It rained while we were there, but everything stayed nice and dry!
