Lewis and Clark State Park

Come out to explore Lewis and Clark State Park and get in touch with your “intrepid adventurer” side, just like the park’s namesake. Lake Sakakawea is full of fun along it’s shore and this particular park is no exception. You’ll find this special place on one of the lake’s upper bays, surrounded by the infamous buttes of the North Dakota Badlands. It’s a landscape that you’re bound to fall for. The lake is full of walleye, sauger, and northern pike for all of you anglers out there. If fishing isn’t your thing, hang out on the swimming beach, or boat around in bliss. And when night falls, you can retire to one of the park’s rental cabins, or to your cozy campsite in the campground.
