Rockon, Bucketts Mountains, New South Wales

Perched beside the river, this campsite is exclusive to one group and can fit a maximum or 4 caravans, or 5 tents. Enjoy complete privacy and peace, your own swimming hole, and spectacular views of the Bucketts Mountains. 

From our property, Rock On, there is so much to explore in the immediate area, including bush walking trails, fossil hunting, spotting koalas, bike trails and more. Hike up to the ridge, the perfect spot for storm watching or stargazing. Just 5 - 10 minutes drive down the road is a fantastic vineyard plus the popular Hillview Herb Farm, that serves woodfired pizzas and hosts interesting farm tours and events regularly. As the sun sets, watch the stunning colours descend over the Bucketts Mountains. Our 335 acre Beef Cattle farm is just 11 minutes to Gloucester. In town, you'll find golf clubs, canoe and bike hire, as well as essentials such as the supermarket. 

We welcome pets but ask that you please keep them on a lead at all times. Campers will need to be self-contained with their own shower and toilet. There is an old portaloo, but we request that campers dispose of the waste correctly themselves. 

Campfires are permitted in the designated fire pit when restrictions/bans are not in place. We have firewood available to purchase on site. 

IMPORTANT: As we are on the banks of a river, if there is exceptionally heavy rain, we may need to relocate you. There will be a property manager on site at all times keeping an eye on the weather.
