Featuring an amazing rustic cabin, nine riverside campsites, along with paddock and bush sites, all 4WD accessible and two equally stunning 2WD accessible sites. You’ll share our spaces with kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas, deer, platypus and more.
Enjoy some optional extras, including Tammie's home made bread, farm fresh, free range eggs, or one of our range of grazing platters, home made jams or hot chocolate kits.

The 2WD accessible sites feature spectacular views to the right, towards Mt Panorama and Mt Horrible and towards Mt Canobolas to the left.

Each campsite offers its own unique features for you to enjoy and a hand crafted pit toilet is accessible to those camped along the river bank.
Fish or swim in the river, ride your bikes, or set up camp and then head off on an adventure to the Goldfields at Ophir, or History Hill at Hill End via the Bridle Track.
Better still, book into a pub crawl with Damo so you can lie back and enjoy the ride. There are plenty of opportunities for 4WDing and bushwalking in the local area.

Wood can be collected from fallen wood around the property, or bring your own if you prefer.

Many stories and dreamings have emerged from this landscape. Artists, writers, poets and musicians often find it a place of deep inspiration and reflection.
A walk along Killongbutta Road reveals sweeping rural vistas across Wiradjuri Country —a river valley layered with history, including ancient stone quarry sites, corroboree grounds and the resting place of a warrior.
The river itself is alive with platypus, water dragons and rakali (native water rats). Wombats have made their homes in the riverbanks, and you may find yourself sharing the space with these quiet, nocturnal neighbours.

Looking for some peace and tranquility? We'd love for you to enjoy a spot in front of our creek on our 53 acre property, Brazenhead, which is surrounded by 1.3kms of the Winburndale Rivulet. Brazenhead is a 15 minute drive to the closest shops, 20 minutes into Bathurst, 30 minutes from Sofala and 1 hour from the historic Hill End.
There is ample space for groups, with wide open spaces but also plenty of trees for shade. Fires are permitted in the spots provided and according to local fire restrictions.
The creek is a good spot to try some gold panning, go exploring and also has some deep swimming holes for you to enjoy.
Pitch your tent or pull up your camping vehicle next to our creek! You will have complete privacy, only the kangaroos and other wildlife to share your trip with.
There is plenty of space for the kids to run around, kick a ball, play some cricket, or go exploring along the creek during the day. In the evenings everyone can sit and relax in the quiet in front of a campfire.
We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. The campsite is 2WD accessible with plenty of room and flat space to camp on.
Not far from our property you can find the Bridle Track, which is very well known by 4WD enthusiasts. It was originally built as the first road between Bathurst and Hill End during the gold rush era, and was given its name due to horsemen having to dismount and guide their horses by the bridle through the very narrow sections.
If you visit in November you may be here for the annual Marmalade Festival, with good weather, musicians, stalls and of course jams and marmalades!

Natural bushland consisting of 80 acres with the Crudine River along the boundary. We are part of the Sofala gold rush history (from the 1850s), sit back and imagine gold miners and their families camped along the banks.
There are two campsites, Camp Crudine Kitchen and Camp Crudine Riverside. When you make your booking whether for 2 people or a group of family and friends the chosen campsite is all yours for the length of your stay.
If you need supplies Sofala is just 8 km away, drop in and explore the town. Hill End is 28 km which is another Historic town to explore.
Camp Crudine is great for kids and adults alike to have a go at panning for gold or try out the metal detector. All findings must be returned to the host, lol.
Campfires must comply with the local fire restrictions and guideline and must be contained in the fire pits provided. Bonfires are not permitted at any time. We recommend campers bring their own firewood as campers are requested to source only small amounts of firewood along the riverbank. Under no circumstances are trees to be cut down. Firewood is available at the Sofala General Store.
Campers are required to bring everything they need and take all rubbish when leaving.
Dogs are welcome but they must be supervised and under control at all times.
The owner has livestock on the property which must be respected at all times.

We are Marilyn and Peter, we own, live and run a mixed farming business from this beautiful land, located in the Central Tablelands NSW.
The country varies between undulating and steep land and has 7 km of double frontage Bell River running through it.
The river can range from rapidly flowing to the more usual steady flowing and is most often very clear. The river has numerous swimming spots, some with a rocky base, and some with sand. The winding river and the varying countryside is incredibly peaceful and beautiful and is a perfect retreat for those looking to disconnect and relax.
The river has its origin near Orange and is also fed into by many springs. Weandre Creek runs in the backcountry and winds into the Bell River.
Our comfortable Hut is situated on an elevated spot looking down on the river with a graduated road leading down. It has everything you need for a relaxing, recharging stay in nature.
The Hut can accommodate up to 4 people, however, you also have the option for up to 6 additional guests to set up swags, tents, or a camper trailer nearby. There is space next to the Hut, or for those with a 4WD, there are some lovely camping sites down by the river.
We also offer sites for those looking for a self-contained camping site, in a beautiful location.
We love the solitude, the endless bush walks, swimming, and being immersed in nature. We are confident you will too.
We also have a lovely art gallery on the property, and for a small fee and prior arrangement, you are welcome to come and take a look.
From our farm, it is 60 km to Orange with all its wineries, food festivals, and many attractions. Wellington is 40 km and boasts the Wellington Caves. Dubbo is 90 km and is a big inland city and boasts the Western Plains Zoo.
We are so glad to let you know we have a new (but intentionally rustic) structure which houses a shower powered by gas and solar with gravity fed water.
Showers need to be short because water supply is limited.
In a separate space is a gas BBQ and sink.

We are situated 10km out of Parkes which is home to the famous Dish and the annual Elvis Festival.

James was very welcoming and took the time and effort to show us around his farm to select the perfect spot for our two night stay.
Wifi was available in the cellardoor / bathrooms which was within 400-500m of all the campsites.
I’m sure we will be back even if it’s just to visit the cellar door!

Fantastic place to stay. We had the place to ourselves but the sites are massive anyway. Loved watching the kangaroos and birds up close.

What a truly memorable space to spend the night! Our hosts Peter and Sally were so welcoming - even though we booked right at the last minute. We appreciated the ease of finding the campsite, the wide open spaces, the facilities and especially the bath beneath the stars :)

Kangaroo creek was just far enough out of town to be quiet and felt like a safe place to camp.
It was still close to the zoo and shops and easy to find.

We rolled into camp and the fire was started awaiting us,Kate and the kids were more than helpful and tony swung down after work to say gday,nice and close to parkes township,but far enough away you feel like your a million miles from anywhere.After sunset the stars in the sky were so bright you can gaze all night long,definately will be back with the caravan next time round as it would make a perfect base camp if your wandering around exploring town and surrounds,ample room for access anyone thats wandering.Thanks Kate & Tony for having us for the night,cheers mitch.

If there was one word that would describe our visit to Glenn’s it would be “Peaceful”. My whole family wife and 2 kids aged 12 and 14 agree this is the word that describes it best. From the moment we got there it was beautifully peaceful to the moment we left. So glad we went. The river was dry however we went on walks up and down the river and looked at where they used to mine gold and had created the sleuths out of stone. Quite fascinating. There was a tiny amount of standing water where the kids did a bit of fun gold panning. Plenty of wildlife such as wombats, kangaroos, wallabies, birds, deer and even a fox. The campsite was so still and peaceful it was the reset we all needed. Will definitely be returning. We took day trips into Hill end and Sofala. Hill end camping ground has running water so you can fill up there and get a feed at the micro pub and also tackle the Bridle track if you want. Sofala has a tip to get rid of rubbish at and the Turon was flowing so we could fill up the water Jerry cans on the crystal clear water. You definitely need a 4WD into Glenn’s for the clearance and getting back up the hill fully loaded but if you take it slow and pick your lines it’s fine. I think we each polished off one or two two books and played some fun games. Even saw a boxing match between some kangaroos one evening that went on for about twenty minutes. Very worthwhile reset from our normal rat race in Sydney.

We loved our experience at Bellandre Park. The campsite by a flowing waterway on flat grassy site without any other campers over Easter was just perfect for us. We were also able to use this camp as our base to visit the Dish, Wellington Caves and Dubbo Zoo. Marilyn and Peter were such lovely hosts who ensured we were comfortable and also great to have a chat with. Highly recommend for those looking for a quiet site well away from hustle and bustle of normal life.

Absolute best spot for camping that we have been to so far. Owners Damo and Tammy are really lovely. The grass was freshly mowed, the site was very tidy and clean. The river is like a picturesque babbling brook with shallow and deep-ish areas, great for kids exploring among the rocks. Warn the kids that the rocks are VERY slippery before hand. Horses were friendly and loved our carrots. The 4x4 access track is not for beginners (in our opinion). Drop toilet was a maintained one and quite rustic. We bought eggs from Tammy, they were delicious and fresh. Stayed in April, had no mosquitoes or flies - only tiny moths at night at the gazebo lights. This is a special spot, not one to hesitate booking. Thanks for your hospitality Tammy and Damo!

Another fantastic stay at Vans in the Vines! The beauty and tranquility of this camp drew us back, this time enjoying a tasty wood fired pizza and a chilled white Merlot under fairy lights @ the Friday night gathering. Paula is such a friendly and welcoming host who makes you feel at home in their little piece of paradise. A few minutes from town and lots of paths to wander with our two little jack Russell pups. Another great get away!

Lovely spot with views over the Talbragar river. The bird life was awesome. Very quiet spot with enough distance between the other campsites to allow for privacy.
The star field at night was spectacular and allowed me to practice some star photography.
We also practiced our campfire cooking with complete success.
Site 1 is the biggest and easiest to access, the others are smaller but would still have been big enough for us. All of the sites when we visited were accessible by 2WD vehicles.
We would definitely visit again.
