The 2WD accessible sites feature spectacular views to the right, towards Mt Panorama and Mt Horrible and towards Mt Canobolas to the left.

Each campsite offers its own unique features for you to enjoy and a hand crafted pit toilet is accessible to those camped along the river bank.

Better still, book into a pub crawl with Damo so you can lie back and enjoy the ride. There are plenty of opportunities for 4WDing and bushwalking in the local area.

Wood can be collected from fallen wood around the property, or bring your own if you prefer.

There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Lake Canobolas is close by for swimming and there are a number of walking/ hiking trails in the beautiful Mount Canobolas National Park.

The campground is 400m off the Newell Highway tucked in on the Marthaguy Creek out of highway sight. Yarralla is a working mixed farming enterprise running sheep, cattle and cropping.
The campground also overlooks a large dam with a Jetty.
The campground offers a safe and secure location to camp away from town with a shelter shed with water over a sink, a picnic table, a hybrid toilet and a hot shower.

Serendipity - a fortunate discovery;
We are situated 10km out of Parkes which is home to the famous Dish and the annual Elvis Festival.
Set on a gentle slope, it boasts picturesque views of the surrounding mixed farmland, tranquil dams and lush native vegetation for you to enjoy.
Guests are offered access to stroll around our 18acre property by foot only. Vehicles are to be kept at the campsite, however.
There are a couple of logs up the top of the hill that you can see from the campground. This is a great spot to wander up enjoy a drink at sunset.
Pets are allowed but must be on leash at all times. We do have 2 dogs, Jack and Rusty, chooks and guinea fowls and the nature of the property abundant wildlife may be present. We breed silkie chickens so while you're wandering around, you may see all different ages of the chickens in the fenced yard behind the shed.
Guests are welcome to enjoy a campfire in the designated area during the winter months when the local regulations permit. The statutory Bush Fire period is from 1st October to 31st March. Firewood is available however we kindly ask for a small donation please.
A chemical toilet and hot shower in a rustic shed is available for your convenience. An honesty pay by use system at $5/shower. No electricity to the shed (yet) so will require you to take your torch during the night.
Please keep an eye on small children as we have 3 unfenced dams on our property.
If kicking back and reading is your thing, then we've got you sorted! We have a bush library and information board available. Test your skills on some bush riddles, trivia and card games that you will find in the library.
We've got a few activities to keep the kids busy too. A basketball hoop to shoot some hoops, fly a frisbee, even a game of quoits.

443 Timor Road only 4.43km from Coonabarabran on the main route to Warrumbungle National Park and Siding Spring Observatory. There’s large driveway access for caravans with plenty of turning room, and tent sites are also available.
Guests are welcome to meet our friendly farm animals, including mini horses, sheep, alpacas, and lots of free-range chickens. If you enjoy strolling through gardens, there are 5–8 acres to explore, dotted with antique farm equipment to remind you of the old days. Or simply relax with a quiet cuppa on one of the many garden chairs and watch the world go by.
The property is very child-friendly and pets are welcome, as long as they’re on a lead (we have four corgis who love to run around when let out!). We’re only 15 km from Siding Spring Observatory and about 25 km from Warrumbungle National Park. Guests are welcome to unhitch their vans and leave them here while exploring the area. The property is just 4 minutes from the centre of Coonabarabran.
Please note: sites are self-service with no amenities provided. Fresh water is available for drinking and for filling caravan reservoirs.
When u arrive simply pull into driveway and head straight towards the workshop shed and when you reach the shed simply turn right into large paddock and pick which campsite you want to setup at.

A walk along Killongbutta Road reveals sweeping rural vistas across Wiradjuri Country —a river valley layered with history, including ancient stone quarry sites, corroboree grounds and the resting place of a warrior.
The river itself is alive with platypus, water dragons and rakali (native water rats). Wombats have made their homes in the riverbanks, and you may find yourself sharing the space with these quiet, nocturnal neighbours.

Waldos on Conrad was a fantastic Hipcamp experience. The friendliest, and most accomodating hosts you could ask for. Such a warm welcome to greet us. This property is immaculately presented and is in the best location on Conrod Straight. We walked the Bathurst track and visited the museum. We were initially booked at the view but then changed to a site right next to the track. Very relaxing and peaceful. Brian and Carol were amazing hosts and we would highly recommend this property.

Yarralla is a wonderful place with all sorts of amenities. The site features a camp kitchen, complete with loan stubbie holders! Shower and toilet. Also a pair baths with a hot water donkey. Plenty of space and great hosts.

Hot showers, flushing loo with a view, great kitchen hut and a fabulous outdoor feature that you need to visit to see & use! Great building minds of Peter & Sally to give weary travellers like us a very beautiful pleasant stay.
Sally advised other campers we would be arriving late, and that just told me that these hipcamp owners go the extra mile for their clients.
Just loved their hipcamp and would definitely be my stop over choice for 1st night of travel from albury to sunny coast.

Unique location (Conrod Straight) on farmland that was peaceful and handy for exploring Bathurst.
Directions were fine and host was friendly.
Entrance was a little tight for my van but still doable. Highly recommend the place

The Wedding campsite was wonderful. It was nestled about a 100m from the tasting room amongst the vines. It was quiet and secluded and the stars at night just amazing.
The two ladies in the Tasting room were great and very helpful in choosing a wine to sit and enjoy the views from the campsite.
The amenities were clean and the hot shower very welcome.

We had an awesome one night stay at The Deep Spot at Watton Airstrip and will definitely be back!
We met Damien at the homestead before heading down and couldn’t have asked for a better host. He was incredibly welcoming, up for a great chat and shared some fascinating history about the property.
We were initially a little cautious about the 4WD-only descent while towing our 23ft caravan, but Damien put us completely at ease. The drive down was actually very manageable, take your time, select low range and enjoy the scenery.
The campsite itself is amazing. We set up within about 5 metres of the river with plenty of open, well maintained space and sunshine throughout the day. Damien told us there were platypuses in this stretch of river and we were lucky enough to see several that afternoon and again the next morning, a huge highlight!
My son and I also had a fish. No luck this time, although we spotted some very large carp and have heard there are some great fish caught here.
There’s a camp kitchen and pit toilet, and the drive back up was just as easy as coming down.
Being so close to Bathurst yet feeling miles away from city life makes this place pretty special. We’re already planning our next stay!
Beautiful property, fantastic host and a brilliant family camping spot.
