16 Ha of grapevines on 40 Ha of land. We also have a cherry orchard so people can pick their own cherries in December. We have stunning views, dedicated sites that can be powered, close to the amenities in the winery or very isolated. We also make some fantastic wine. Close by is the Orange Mountain Bike Club with dedicated downhill trails and events year-round. We are just next to the Lonely Mountain Ultra which runs in October. Mount and Lake Canobolas offer wonderful walk, swims, paddles and fishing. The region has incredible produce, restaurants and wineries.

Wedding
Cargo Road Wines is a wonderful place to stay at! It has the charms of a working vineyard, sheep grazing between the vines and spectacular views and sunsets. James is a great host and very helpful. It is an additional bonus to walk a few metres and taste/purchase delicious wines. A place we can highly recommend!

Wedding
Amazing place. Beautiful view with sunset on the vineyard. We stayed in ‘Wedding’ spot. Also toilet are very clean. Raised firepit allowed, and dogs friendly. Absolutely recommended! They've policy ‘left behind just your footprint’ so be organised to bring back your rubbish with you, which could be tricky if you stay for few nights. Overall it was an amazing experience! I’ll be back even tomorrow.

Thank-you James for warm hospitality, so welcoming and friendly. Beautiful winery and sustainability practices and purpose. Caravan amongst the vineyard with dog. In Cherry Blossom location, tree for shade and access to standard power. We were self sufficient otherwise. Great coffee made by James in the morning and well located in the Orange winery district.

Loved it
Great views, perfect spot. Away from the hussle and bustle but close enough to join in when we wanted to and a short stroll to taste (and buy) more wine each night! We camped with our two dogs, and it worked out really well. Also, great shower for a camp ground shower. Highly recommended
