Revelstone offers base camps for 2WD vehicles and mountain camps for 4WD vehicles and most 2WD vehicles. If you're unsure about access or which campsite is right for you, please contact Graeme through Hipcamp. He's always happy to help! Communal toilets, showers and camp kitchen available. Free 180-metre flying fox ride! A minimum two-night booking applies, subject to Host availability. Please contact Graeme to arrange. Explore six kilometres of driving tracks, abundant wildlife, large granite rock formations and spectacular views. All sites are well marked and have fire pits. Our most popular campsite, as voted by campers, is Campers Den. The site with the best views (although I may be biased!) is Kooyong. Firewood is scattered around the property, so feel free to help yourself. Revelstone offers six kilometres of tracks to explore, with amazing rock formations throughout. Please remember to leave all gates as you find them, whether open or closed. Wyangala Dam and village are nearby, offering water sports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and backwaters. Cowra township is a 20-minute drive away and well worth a visit. The Reflections Holiday Park shop at the dam offers general supplies, coffee and hot food. Revelstone Mountain Camps offers camping with fantastic views and plenty of space for scenic hikes. There's lots of wildlife, including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 14 designated camping areas to choose from. You might also like to try the Revelstone Tepee Tent adventure or the Twin Hammock Camp. Please do not cut down or use any standing trees, even if they appear dead, as they are part of the mountain landscape. Phone reception and internet access are available at the mountain sites and some base camp sites. Facilities and important information Our campsites are best suited to self-contained campers with their own camping equipment, toilet/shower facilities and water supply. However, communal toilets, showers and a camp kitchen are also available. Please refer to the price guide for any applicable facility charges. Pets are welcome, but please keep them on a lead when livestock are nearby, as we have plenty of animals wandering around the property. Revelstone is a fully fenced working farm. Please ensure all gates that are closed are shut again after entering or leaving. Each campsite offers plenty of privacy and space, with no immediate neighbours. Revelstone Mountain now has a fully enclosed Camp Kitchen - at a small cost to you. This is a communal kitchen available to all campers . Has a sink, all cookware ,cutlery ,plates and cups. A wood stove is available, solar power for lighting and phone charging Kitchen also has a comfy lounge , bar area and a BBQ. Brass monkey fridge available. Please take all rubbish with you as there is no garbage service. we ask that you leave the area clean and all cutlery etc washed and stored. Shower and 2 toilets located short distance from kitchen .

Inclusive in cost is our camp kitchen, shower and toilet facility short walk from teepee site.

HAMMOCK Camp

Our double Hammock camp site is situated at summit mountain top next to Camp kitchen and offer an unique experience for one or two die-hards. each hammock is height adjustable, with mozzie net and roof cover if required boasting the best views the mountain has to offer. You will need your own bedding however the camp kitchen is right there for cooking ,lounge, and bar area. Why not give it a try.

LIBERTY VIEWS BASE CAMP
This was a lovely place to camp. Beautiful views. It is set up with a fire pit. We stayed on the lower camp spots as we had a 21ft caravan. Easy access and even after 24 hours of rain we got out without any trouble. We took a walk up to the top where the 4WD access camps are and it is stunning, maybe next time we will just bring our tents 😊.

Beautiful part of the world, well worth the visit. The property is gorgeous. Greame was a great host, went above and beyond to help us when we needed it. If going when heavy rain around, base camp sites are the best pick. Dry weather great views, private without the steep mountain drive Ngari site is a great choice.

Very private spot, many sites but it was just us when we were there. Mountain top campsite on a beautiful clear night, was an amazing experience. Its a fair way off the highway so maybe not again for a single night stop over again, but didn’t hear any other human activity the time we were there- didn’t even see another person!

Just an amazing place to stay. The views are great and the rock formations are really spectacular. We stayed at the Sunset Rocks site and it was so private and quiet, we felt very privileged to be able to stay here. Graeme is so friendly and a great host. We will definitely be back sometime.

It was absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Banyula site and the view was incredible. Did some 4WD during the day and saw so many animals (horses, cows, llamas, kangaroos, foxes etc.) Graeme was so lovely and such a hospitable host. Definitely will be back very soon!

We had an incredible stay at Revelstone Mountain Hipcamp, camping at Camper’s Den. The sites are beautifully spaced out, giving you privacy while still feeling connected to nature, and everything is kept so tidy and well cared for. The views are absolutely stunning — the kind you never get tired of waking up to. Graeme was a fantastic host: friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly and are already looking forward to coming back!

Amazing views from all sites if camping with others it’s only a short walk to other sites but enough distance that you can’t hear people. Flying fox was great. Really nice tracks around the property to have a bit of fun on. Highly recommend and will be going back

We had an absolutely incredible Easter at this campsite! The 270-degree views are actually breathtaking. Since the spot is nice and high up, we actually had mobile signal right at the site, which was a great bonus. Graeme was super friendly and gave us some great tips on a local lookout and cafe nearby. We and our dog had the best time.

Unreal views, beautiful spot to relax and soak in the beautiful views! Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for mountain views and peaceful nature. When wet recommend a 4wd, otherwise AWD would suit! Just gotta to be familiar with hill climbs and non bitumen roads!

Great stay, incredible views. Really enjoyed the first night but unfortunately the wind started to pick up and it was just not suitable for camping. Toilets and showers are very clean. Highly recommend
