Had a great 3 days at Springvale, un hooked and spent the days getting to know what Parkes is all about. I prefer to be out of town but Springvale is only a 4minute drive. They have a potable water tap (town water) if you need to top up tanks.

It was such an easy spot to get to. Very quiet and lots of room to stay. Would definitely stay there again if we ever travelled through Parkes. Highly recommend.

Springvale was easy to find, with the "cow" at the gate.
Plenty of room in the two paddocks. Karen is lovely and they have plans to improve on what is already there.

Nice quite spot, off the main road, well maintained camp site, heaps of space, loved the old truck lit up at night. I’ll be staying again when passing through Parkes. Thanks Karen for making my stay an enjoyable one.

Wonderful hosts, very accommodating & friendly.
We needed a last minute place to stay the night, and their response was quick & easy.
Nice, close & convenient to the freeway, but far enough away to be peaceful.
Access is easy & flat.

We had a wonderful stay at Springvale. We only stayed for one night but wish it could have been for longer.
The paddock area is huge and flat which is great. We were the only ones there so we were very lucky to have it all to ourselves, however the paddock is big enough to easily accommodate a number of vans and still have your own space. It’s also so close to town yet it’s nicely tucked away and has a lovely rural feel. We loved how private it was.
Night time was very special with wonderful sunset views as well as very starry nights. It was also lovely having “Rosie” lit up at night.
Karen was a fabulous host with great communication, she came to greet us and it was lovely having a chat with her. We also really appreciated being able to top up our water tanks.
I highly recommend Springvale to anyone passing through or planning on spending some time in Parkes. Hope to come back again!

Karen is an exceptional host and "Springvale" is a MUST for anyone visiting Parkes or the surrounding regions. The campground is massive and beautifully grassed. We didn't need to put a mat down! Easily accommodating self-contained caravans with a fire pit onsite for use. Karen know what Caravaners need including offering us to fill our water tanks before we left (wonderful!). Rosey (the truck) adds a lovely touch to the place and we were even gifted some fresh eggs on departure :) If you are here for the Elvis festival or just want to see the area, this quiet campground is perfect for you.

Once I found the site, I felt quite secure and enjoyed the peace and quiet. As an independent traveller, I valued not only the welcome Karen and her husband gave me, but the feeling of security their property provided. A welcome addition to the camping possibilities, for women travelling solo.

We loved the lush green grass, the sounds of sheep in a neighbouring paddock, lots of bird life, and Rosie was the centre of attention. We welcomed beautiful sunrises and sunsets each day. We had only booked in for 1 night but ended up booking a second night as it is such a beautiful place to stay. It's only a few minutes to town with everything you need to stock up. The hosts Karen and Andrew are very welcoming and friendly, allowing us to top up our water tanks and use our fire pit on a very cold night. We highly recommend you stay here at Springvale in Parkes.

Safe and Quiet spot to pull up for the night. Karen was so welcoming. Nice level site. Easy to find off the new bypass road. Kids loved having room to run around and the light up truck was a hit as well!!

Karen's space is an awesome little flat paddock, a nice truck and firepit in the middle, flat heaps of room. Karen and her hubby are super friendly and have wood on arrival. Really convenient if heading North or South through Parkes. Loved it.
