Come and enjoy this grassy campsite located on the outskirts of Canowindra. Canowindra is known as the Hotair Balloon Capital of Australia, most mornings you wake to find a balloon floating in the sky. Venture to the Main Street and see the historic building’s. Canowindra is also home of the Fish Fossil Museum, so much to explore. Campers are welcome to enjoy a campfire, local regulations permitting. A beautiful animal sanctuary with a caring, loving family. We had a spiritually significant experience here and will never forget it. Thank you Annette & Joe for everything ❤️ 🐾

Peaceful property! Easy to find. Flushing toilet was a bonus. Annette was a fantastic host and made you feel comfortable and welcome. My second time staying at the property and would come back again.

Overnight Stay
Overall we had a lovely stay, one night. Plenty of flat grassy sites. Flushing toilet was great. Around us fenced were chickens, llamas, cattle and sheep. The camp sites were tidy and there was a tap available (not for drinking). The only downside for us was the continual barking of the household dogs. Morning was the worst. Without the barking it would have been more pleasant.

Annette was a lovely host! Her property is beautiful and well set out. Easy to find and access, the flushing toilet was a treat! Pets were allowed and the property is huge and fully fenced where the dog was allowed to have a roam if he wanted. The cows and llamas made it even better. Would definately recommend staying here and I might do so again on my trip home if I’m heading that direction! Thanks for the stay.
