"Wombles Common" has a permanent fire pit area, all other sites require transportable fire pits (provided or bring your own). Please do not leave burn scars on the ground and please take your ashes with you or dump them in the "Wombles Common" fire pit area. River - the river is excellent for fun canoeing adventures. Entering the river is at your own risk. Fishing - great fishing in the river. We love the Red Fin! Pets - pets are welcome but need to be controlled. The safety and comfort of the resident sheep, our neighbours and other campers are a priority. Please don't not allow your pets to disturb (including barking, wandering or chasing sheep) the peace of those around them. Discover Atlantium - The Smallest Country in Australia! Welcome to Atlantium, a unique campsite located on a 0.76 square kilometre pastoral estate in the scenic Lachlan River valley, nestled between Crookwell and Cowra. Founded in 1981 by a group of teenagers in Sydney, Atlantium has since evolved into a global civil society organisation and micronation, boasting thousands of citizens across over a hundred countries. Atlantium is the only country you can drive to from Australia, making it a one-of-a-kind destination. Since acquiring our 200-acre pastoral estate near Reids Flat, NSW, in 2008, we've developed it as our ceremonial capital. Visitors can explore Government House (the Golden House), our post office, a pyramid, and various other monuments and buildings. Our facilities are entirely independent of the Australian power, gas, and water grids. Government House features a gas fridge, BBQ facilities, solar-powered lighting, a solar-powered induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, music system, television, and reverse-cycle air conditioning. Property has a gorgeous stand-alone bathroom building with 2 toilets, a hot water shower and sink. Please keep this clean and tidy. There are cleaning products under the sink as we cannot always be there to keep it clean. There is also an undercover table and basic camp kitchen set up for use in the shearing shed. Please take all rubbish with you. Pick a camp site in the middle aisle around the sheds, bathroom block and driveway OR in any open paddock (granite pad sites on hill are their own sites). Note the ground off the driveway and parking pads can get very wet and boggy so to avoid getting bogged please try to stick to the driveway as much as possible.

The State Forest that surrounds our farm is a wonderful experience for bushwalking and the views are outstanding with spectacular sunrises and sunsets to admire. There are endless amounts of native birds, kangaroos and wallabies to view and sometimes we see a local echidna or wombat. We provide a peaceful farm with loving animals who love human attention. Rosnay is a pioneering organic farm in the Central West. The Statham family moved to Rosnay in 1996 and began renovating the run down farm using organic and biodynamic methods. They planted the first vines in 1997, and olives in 1999, as well as thousands of native trees, all planted and grown without any chemicals. The exclusive camping area is on the banks of a old farm dam in the middle of the olive grove. There are sheep and alpacas, and plenty of birds and kangaroos living there too. For those who prefer not to sleep out in the elements, we also offer a lovely farmstay guest house by direct booking. Rosnay is proud to be part of Rivers Road Organic Farms, an organic farming community title project.

Fiona and John were great and Travellers Rest was such a quiet and peaceful stay. We were met on arrival with such a friendly vib and nothing was too much trouble. Fiona's homemade relish and sauces were delicious and added to the whole experienced. We had a visit from the host's lovely pups... just delightful. 100% recommend, thanks Fiona and John!

It’s here Did you say close to town but far enough out? Uh, right here. What about gorgeous ducks, Geese and a stunning peacock? Look no further. A spacious well kept rural property? Young Country Getaway is the answer We loved it and will be back for sure. Directions on how to get to Young country getaway from Mary were simple and we found it easy to find. Mary was very communicative. Best camp ever!

We absolutely loved our night at the farm stay. We were shown around and made to feel very welcome. There were baby goats for the children to bottle feed, miniature ponies and a cow plus deer and many more animals. The amenities were clean and everything was very comfortable. We will be back!

The campsite in the olive grove was excellent, plenty of space and the facilities enough to make for an easy, relaxing, and peaceful stay. I had three nights and enjoyed the birdlife, clear night skies, and the cellar door close by. The hot shower, gas cooker and fridge made the camping so easy it is a great place for a quick getaway.

We spent the weekend at Wilson’s Flat campsite and it was perfect! Directions to the property were very easy to follow. We definitely came at the right time, plenty of water in the creek to dip your toes in or make a splash in the deep parts, green grass for as far as you could see. Campsite nestled along the creek surrounded by rolling hills, the views were absolutely stunning. What stood out was how well maintained everything was. The toilet was well looked after and stocked with everything you needed, bins were provided, great campfire, a map to the property if you wanted to explore or hike. Generous spacing between campsites you were in your own little oasis! From the very beginning everything was easy, well thought out and cannot fault anything. Thankyou Jen and John for a wonderful stay, we will be back again!!

Another great stay at Boorowa Wombles Common. The area was clean mown and right on the river. Love the addition of a firepit. The adjoining pathway was great to take into town both walking and bike riding. We enjoyed watching the sheep wander around the paddock and the creeky windmill across the river gave that real country feel not forgetting the view of beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Easy to find location although our 19ft van is possibly maximum size to get through the main gate. We even managed to catch a rather large carp on the first night. Will come back again

We loved our stay at Redlands. Jen and John are super friendly and helpful. We had a great location on the property and we were able to explore all the paddocks. It was generally quiet and peaceful. Our kids enjoyed riding around and the sheep shearing demonstration. I would highly recommend staying at Redlands. There are many different sites to suit everyone, remote or closer to the homestead depending what you like.

Our site was at philaris pdk site 4 but we did our camping near our shearing shed. It’s quite far from Sydney around 280 km but it was worth it. Peaceful place. Clean toilets, water available. If you are going from Sydney book for 2 days. John and Jennifer are good.

An absolutely STUNNING place, and can’t recommend it enough. Our site was a huge, clean, private site, beside a beautiful creek. Lots of great site choices. Plenty of room to set up and communication before stay was clear and made it an easy arrival. An amazing property to explore, with breathtaking views high above the campground and being a working sheep farm added to the adventure, with lots of ways to get involved. John and Jen were the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and made our stay so memorable. Thank you so much, we all had an awesome time and appreciate what you have created. We are excited to return for another great stay as soon as we can. This Hipcamp is AWESOME!!!!
