Wildflower Wanderlust

2 sites ¡ Tents20 acres ¡ Sturgeon Bay, WI
After purchasing the 'Feest Farm' 18 years ago I dedicated time to create an oasis of gardens and meadows that has become my personal sanctuary. My hopes are that visitors enjoy all aspects of my property as much as I do. Learn more about this land: You can choose to set up camp in the meadow or in the open field area. In the meadow you will find paths that you can stroll through throughout the property where you can you bird watch and observe Wisconsin's natural prairie and vegetation. The open field area provides more room whether it's to throw a frisbee, bask in the sun or play some competitive yard games with your family and friends. Regardless of where you set up camp, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the secret flower garden or a nightcap next to the fire under the grape covered arbor while watching the night stars. Feeling adventurous? The Ahnapee trail is an old railroad trail that is now a hiking and biking path that extends from Sturgeon Bay to Kewaunee. The Ahnapee Trail is 1.5 miles down the road. Also located within miles is the Ahnapee River, which is ideal for canoeing and kayaking.

The G Farm

1 site ¡ Lodging27 acres ¡ Larsen, WI
Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature. Me too, after 10 plus year of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and striped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensivly and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property in to an oak savannah like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you into our ecosystem.

Koeller Century Farm

3 sites ¡ RVs, Tents5 acres ¡ Shawano, WI
The farm has been in the family for four generations. We don't have any livestock anymore and rent the fields to the neighbors but the home, outbuildings and five acres are well-loved and used as our home base and also for rustic weddings, graduation parties, reunions and barn dances. In 1974, the farm was used as the location for the TV movie "Things in Their Season" starring Patricia O'Neal. We put up one of the first barn quilts in the county and are on the route of the Bike the Barn Quilts bike ride (held last Saturday in September.) Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent or roll your RV up to a beautiful farmstead (we no longer have animals, crops only).  We are a rustic wedding / event venue located mid-way on the Mountain Bay Trail, Wisconsin's longest rail-trail which runs about 90 miles from Weston to Green Bay.   Fire pit available.  Views of farmland all around.  Quiet and peaceful but not secluded.   (See pictures on Facebook Country Events at the Koeller Century Farm.) You can move tent into the machine shed (wood chip floor) during severe weather.  There are electrical outlets to use to re-charge devices.

Our little piece of heaven is carved out of a large forested area, and across the road from us is beautiful upland prairie all in its natural state. Luci's Lilly Pad

2 sites ¡ Lodging3 acres ¡ Gillett, WI
Fully furnished 21 foot camper tucked into mostly wooded 2.6 acres with water frontage on private Warrington Lake just north of Shawano Lake. Bonfires... fishing...boating... Snowmobile and ATV trails. We have electric and heat for the camper. Ice fishing for crappies is a lot of fun, I can pretty much guarantee bites. Summer fishing for bluegills and largemouth bass is a blast. I love watching a bonfire and listening to the bullfrogs and wood ducks at dusk. I personally am not much for ATV or snowmobile trail riding due to my fishing addiction but the trails are right there and you can hop on your machine and go right from the camper. Canoe and four person paddle boat available in the summer. Camper has an upper and lower queen bed along with the side benches that fold down which makes two more large sleeping areas. There is a sand point well with a pitcher pump that also works in the winter for non-potable water. Camper plumbing works in the summer and doodie/comode bags available for the winter months. I am looking forward to meeting you!
