Randy and Alnilda were such wonderful hosts! They welcomed us immediately and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time exploring their property, and our dog had a great time running around. I would highly recommend staying in the tiny house (it’s adorable and there’s AC!) We are excited to come back here!

Great place! I missed 2 out of 3 nights due to an unruly friend. I did get to kayak Rost lake and rest in my brand-new hammock for one night. The sound of the stream was pleasant.

Wow! Me and my friend wanted to stay somewhere close to our home but far enough it feels like a vacation. This was it! The tiny home is super cozy and comes with a lot of things you may need.(Extra dishes, popsicles, first aid, bug spray, toilet paper, and bedding) Randy and Alnilda are extremely sweet and constantly make sure you have what you need. They are often out and about but they always made sure we were good before they left. The animals are amazing and very well behaved. The male goat loves to talk and he enjoyed the orange I brought him on our last day. The trails are beautiful there is more than enough sites to see. They also have asparagus and mushrooms growing on some of the trails which is so cool! I bought the floats for an extra 20$ per person to go on the river. It was an amazing experience. The river was about 20-30 minutes away from camp.(Construction gave us a detour)it was a very peaceful experience and the little spirts of fast water were so fun. Randy and Alnilda are very kind and genuinely care about their quests. Alnilda made sure we had enough bug spray and sun screen. She also asked if we wanted marshmallows and stuff to make some s’mores. The private shower and toilet to the side of the tiny home was really awesome. Very unique experience to shower peacefully outdoors. Randy also made sure the water was at the perfect temperature and we always had fire wood. Stay here! Enjoy the nature and animals. Take a vacation here, you will be cared for.

Beautiful and relaxing campsite. Hosts were very welcoming. This is a great place to unwind and enjoy watching some farm life and explore.

If you’re a HipCamper reading this and the listing is still available, book it right now! The tiny house rental exceded my groups expectations in every way. The tiny house itself is nicer inside than expected and thoughtfully built. The hot outdoor shower felt amazing on a cool night after spending the day hiking. The stars on this property are the best I’ve seen in all of Wisconsin, we all saw multiple shooting stars each night. The hosts kept us well stocked with firewood and their farm fresh eggs. Randy and Alnilda are really cool and kind folks. They really cared about how we were doing and enjoying our stay. They made our weekend trip the best it could have been.

I loved this spot! It was easy to find, get to and set up. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the site. It was really beautiful to wake up and always hear the stream in the background. I really enjoyed it.

Your “tiny house” was just what we were looking for. The addition of AC made it even better ! We loved all the chickens, sheep, the horse and of course your dog ! And the beautiful surrounding land…

The sites are beautiful & the hosts are SO kind & hospitable. There are beautiful trails all around the property & up on a ridge on their property that would be great for biking or x-c skiing. Many options. Highly recommended!
