Places of Sanctuary has 30 Acres of woods which include several dedicated hiking trails with beautiful clearings and benches for resting and reflecting along the way. You're welcome to fish in the pond that has plenty of shade and sun, or sit around the bonfire site where we have benches provided and roast marshmallows. With two easy-access large tree houses, bench swings and a big picnic shelter, there's lots of room to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. You might encounter wildlife like: deer, mink, or geese, but you're sure to see our chickens and ducks running around! Depending on the time and season, we offer several hands on experiences with berry picking, chicken tending, food processing, gardening, and general light land maintenance like checking the trails for down limbs and trash. With gorgeous views and the convenience of being just 10 minutes from University Southern Indiana or 15 minutes from restaurants and stores, we welcome you to camp with us. If you are interested in staying longer than 3 nights or your RV/camper is longer than 36 feet long, please message us to see if we can accommodate your visit. Usually we can!

Beautiful farm retreat.
This is a wonderful campground. A beautiful oasis off the beaten track. Bill was a friendly and accommodative host that met us and made us feel so welcome to his small farm. The chickens and ducks were wonderful neighbors. My wife and I are tent campers on a month long trip seeing the country. This was one of our favorite sites. The bathroom-shower facilities were nicer than a lot of the hotels we have been to. If we are nearby, we would go out of our way to return!!

Beautiful, peaceful place
It's a beautiful and fascinating property. We are new to RV life, and this was our third place to stay ever. It's a 30 acre farm with chickens and ducks running around. We bought eggs and they were wonderful.. The grounds are meticulous, and it is very secluded and, private.. As far as the stay, it was lovely and peaceful, and we felt welcomed by Bill who was very friendly and helpful. The shower house was super clean and very welcomed. It is nothing like the cookie cutter RV parks and we really enjoyed it.

Perfect place
Absolutely beautiful property! Hiking trails are well maintained. I hiked the trails sometimes twice daily and the evening sunsets over the pond are stunning and so quiet besides the sound of the many birds in the canopy. Robin and Bill were very responsive any time i had a question. (which was often as it is the first time staying in my camper alone for longer term) Being here for work this was the perfect place to reset after a long exhausting work schedule. Thank you both so much for sharing your peace of paradise with me! Im so very grateful i found this property.
