We’re located along two miles of river frontage, deep in the heart of the Monongahela National Forest. Winter brings great local skiing and snowboarding. Come and spend a quiet weekend in your own heated cabin, complete with pellet stoves. Spring and summer bring fishing, tubing, hiking, the WV Mountain Rail train rides, and many more outdoor activities. We are a great retreat any time of year! We have facilities available year-round, comfortable cabins complete with heat, a full kitchen, hot tubs, and bathroom facilities, perfect for a getaway. Campers are welcome to use our heated bath house in winter. Several things to do at Revelle’s River Resort include: Basketball, Volleyball, Horseshoes/Cornhole, Fishing, Hiking, Riding Bikes and Splash Pad.

I had the place to myself and enjoyed staying cozy on the windy days. Was fun to watch prop planes fly low over the site. The walkability of this location is excellent. Just a very short walk to the path along the river. Keep going and reach exercise stations. A little further along, a wider park with trails and views. Playgrounds in several directions and plenty of places to walk the dog. Hosts are very friendly! book this spot for an in-town backyard camping with your rig *Note: an outdoor ice rink in town opens 11/28

Amazing spot John was very welcoming the entire time we felt at home. There’s 250 acres of nothing but stunning views. There’s a ton of stuff to do right there skeet shooting a cute little putting green there are five ponds perfect for fishing. The little touches aren’t to be missed either the cute on site shower house with laundry *chefs kiss the bird houses the cute I assume from family named roads and alleys even a 55 miles according an hours sign…. If you’re looking for a place to get away and forget the world this is the place!!!! 10 out of 10 recommend

Conveniently located near the town of Parsons for quick runs to the gas station, McDonald’s, or Dollar General, yet still close to scenic nature trails and Blackwater Falls State Park. I felt very welcomed, and my space was respected throughout my stay. Plus, you can even bring your fur babies! I’ll definitely be back.

Spearmint Patch was a great little spot! We stayed during the fall and the foliage was beautiful. Our pups had an awesome time being able to be off leash. But hands down, you can’t beat the proximity of this campsite from the Seneca Rocks trails. Would definitely recommend to others interested in hitting the trail during their stay. The road did have more traffic than expected, but it seems like that was just the timing due to a project being done further up the roadway.
