This spot is just a few blocks walk to Bridgewater College campus, restaurants, coffee shop, North River Riverwalk parks, Sipe Performing Arts Center, Sandy Bottom 9-hole Par 3 and 18-hole mini golf, Generations Park Ice Skating Rink (winter only) and more. This would be an ideal spot for families visiting Bridgewater College or JMU for Parents Weekend, Homecoming, sporting events, and graduation. Ideal for visitors who set up their RV home base in Bridgewater to cycle, hike, rock climb or boat in the Shenandoah Valley, as we are situated between the Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest. 20 miles from Massanutten Resort for skiing, waterpark, mountain biking, and more. Electric hook up. City water connection available. You may use propane grill, fire pit, tree house, rope swing, basketball court, and yard games (volleyball & badminton). We have a folding table you may borrow if you need it. No tent camping. Only RV/trailer/camper with indoor toilet allowed. No outdoor camp toilets allowed. No dumping.

Harrisonburg/Shenandoah Valley KOA allows dumping for a fee. Electric and City water connection available. You can pull your camper into the yard from S Liberty Steet through our basketball court. If you pull straight in here, or back in, you'll be closer to the electrical hook up which is mounted at the back porch of the house. IMPORTANT: We require you to have a camper WITH your own inside toilet and inside method for bathing. There are NO bathrooms/shower amenities here, and we do not allow outdoor camp toilets/showers as this site is on a residential street. You will only have use of the outdoor spaces, you will not have use of the home or the porches.

Enter the yard through the basketball court off of S Liberty St. For large campers, pull into the gravel lot between the two buildings across from the basketball court, and back straight into the yard through the basketball court. This will bring the back of your rig close to the electric hook up which is mounted to the back porch. I had the place to myself and enjoyed staying cozy on the windy days. Was fun to watch prop planes fly low over the site. The walkability of this location is excellent. Just a very short walk to the path along the river. Keep going and reach exercise stations. A little further along, a wider park with trails and views. Playgrounds in several directions and plenty of places to walk the dog. Hosts are very friendly! book this spot for an in-town backyard camping with your rig *Note: an outdoor ice rink in town opens 11/28

Great location in town with relaxed and accommodating hosts. Hookups for water/elec simple. Went to sleep with gentle sounds of windchimes and woke beneath a tree slowly dropping yellow leaves. Several restaurants and parks nearby. Also had the pleasure of hearing the local marching band rehearse . Recommend this HipCamp

We were traveling through on highway 81 and site was close and convenient. It was 3 miles away was the new Buccees . Quiet neighborhood. Italian restaurant walking distance away .. Electric and water access. Nice host to greet and help you out .

Second time for us! A definite repeat. Easy set up, no leveling needed for my class c. Easy access to water and electric. My son loves the swing, fire pit, and treehouse. We walk and used Bird scooters to access local output and Par 3. Incredible restaurants and movie theater within walking distance

Amazing host who made us feel right at home, and informed us of local events and restaurants nearby. My son loved the swing, treehouse, yard, and fire pit available. A backyard getaway that makes you feel like you’re in your own space. Highly recommend, and will be back.

The hosts were amazing and communication was on point. It was not a bad a campsite but the mosquitos were definitely an issue. The water and electrical hook-ups were much further than normal and you might need two hoses. The neighborhood seemed safe and easy access from the highway.

This was a great spot with accommodating host. Our first road trip with the our seven week old. Our arrival kept getting later and later. Seth met us, helped us park and loaned us a light for some work I needed to do on the bus. Nice town and we enjoyed the coffee shop a few blocks up Main Street.

Great for Class B & Dog travelers

Quiet town- home is on a large corner lot, easy to pull your rig up to for electric and water. Walked to a restaurant a few blocks away with our 2 dogs for outside dining. Safe quiet town for dog walking and it was a perfect 1 night stay on a long road trip. Thank you Seth!

The location was so good that we thought we were in the wrong area. Hosts were more than helpful, and the restaurants in the area (within walking distance) served us well. Also appreciated the availability of Uber service into Harrisonburg.

Our hosts were wonderful and this spot was perfect for us- close enough to walk to restaurants and entertainment and a quick drive away from Luray caverns, Shenandoah National Park, and Massanutten Resort. The site was level and power and water were easily accessible. There was plenty to do on the property and a local park with a dog area was just a few houses away. We would definitely stay here again!
