If you plan to RV camp, van camp, pull behind, etc., the picnic shelter house location will work best for you. If you plan to tent camp, the riverside is also an option for you. To access the riverside, there is a short walk through the woods. There are no hook-ups and the camping on the river side is primitive. The site includes a picnic shelter with picnic tables, a cooking fire ring and a bonfire ring. There is also a swing set for children.

Love the independent check-in. The property is fantastic. My daughter and I always go to the same spot every time. It is extremely peaceful and quiet. The valley that we camp in never has any wind. Perfect for tent camping. Caleb is always very accommodating and a great host.

Highly recommend! This cabin is perfect. Not only is it beautiful, but it is clean and fully stocked with anything you might need. The wood burning stove keeps it incredibly warm and cozy in the winter. The property surrounding the cabin is beyond beautiful! There are hiking trails and a stream that can be heard from the cabin's porch. The site is very private and quiet. I also can't say enough good things about the host Craig! Incredibly nice, quick to respond, and willing to whatever to make your trip perfect. I can't wait to go back!!!

This is a funky little spot, don't be put off by the drive in. Mike has created a number (5?) of leveled gravel full hook up sites pretty close together, but very nice. Sweet communal fire pit right on a deck overlooking a little river. Fantastic bathroom with running hot water and shower! We would definitely camp here again. Thank you Mike.

Great site- all the basic needs met. Electric and water hookup. Close to campus/ Athens. Was able to pull up next to a cement slab, which was great since it rained all weekend. Road was close but couldn’t hear traffic inside our camper. Well maintained spot. Definitely plan to come back a few times a year while kid is at OU!!

Amazing location, definitely off the beaten track. Loved the privacy, the scenic oasis and the trails along the river/creek. We loved camping here on top of the ridge! The site was beautiful, private, and with the UTV service was easy to access and transport our gear. The host was very responsive and kind, and was an excellent host. He got us more firewood when we needed it and even offered us farm fresh eggs. The bike trails near by were also excellent and provided a very fun weekend.

What an awesome site! Especially if you’re into biking. The Moonville Rail Trail is just a stones throw away. The campsite has a maze of awesome clover paved walking trails. Great for walking your dog! Location is an easy walk to the Kings Hollow Tunnel and an easy bike ride to the Moonville Tunnel.

Fantastic! Despite some of the drawbacks others have noted, my now fiance and I had a great time! I booked this cabin because of the incredible privacy, and mainly to propose in Hocking Hills! (She said yes 😎) Craig was a very nice host and made sure the cabin was well stocked. Despite no running water it had everything you could think to need, and overall you can tell the cabin was built with safety/comfort in mind. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks Craig!
