Earth Biscuits is a sanctuary and a place to enjoy nature Located in Skykomish Washington, a small town 15 minutes from the Stevens Pass Ski Resort and the Pacific Crest Trail.
We have 53 acres of a southern facing hill side that runs along the Henry M. Jackson, Wild Sky Wilderness within the Mt. Baker National Forest.
We have seven sites for camping. All sites have a fire ring, a table of some sort and a barrel of water for dousing your campfire. All sites have a deck for setting up on. We give each party a clean camping toilet and privacy tent.
All campers are welcome to hike up to the cliffs for viewing.
The road going into the property is flat and level; however, we reclaimed an old logging road and it takes a jeep or 4-wheel drive truck type vehicle (Subaru makes it all day long for some reason) to get past the switchback as it heads up to the cliffs and camping spots 1-3.
Bring binoculars.
Be advised that it takes an able-bodied person to get to the top as the trail going to the cliffs is rough. We are laying some ropes but count on your own ability, not the ropes.
We have not put in electric hook ups, water, sewage disposal, therefore your rig needs to be self-contained. We offer a clean and sanitary camping toilet for each party. Works well and easy to use.
If panning for minerals is your thing there are a couple of seasonal creeks.
The property is walking distance to 3 local eateries, a laundromat , a tavern, coffee shop, outfitter, fishing guides, convenience store/gas station.
Skykomish is a train community and sports a train park which offers free miniature train rides May thru October. Fun for the kids of all ages. Keep in mind that as a train community there will be trains that rumble through the valley at night. If that bothers you bring ear plugs.
There are numerous hiking trails in the area as well as several rivers in the area. The Foss, Beckler, Skykomish and several pristine alpine lakes.
Biscuits come to the area for a wide variety of outdoor recreational opportunities including skiing, snow shoeing, rafting, mushroom hunting, rock climbing, quad tours, gold panning, bird watching, fishing, mountain biking, mountain rescue instruction or just unplugging from the world below and simply chilling.
Pets are welcome however the property is located within the town limits of Skykomish and there is a leash law and you don’t want rover to chase wildlife into the mountains or across the highway and be lost forever. It happens.
This area is rich with history from “The Olden Days”. The longest train tunnel in the western hemisphere was constructed through/under these mountains in the early 1900s after the nation’s worst train disaster, an avalanche, took 96 souls. Wellington (site of the disaster) is a short drive, is worth seeing and is wheel chair accessible.
Two books written about this, both excellent reads. The White Cascade and Vis Major.
During the time of tunnel construction between the logging and rail/tunnel workers there were some 20,000 living and prospering in the Skykomish Valley. They were a hearty rough-and-tumble crowd.
Thursday through Sunday there is a museum and art gallery in town.
Also, there is abundant wildlife in the area including bear, deer, cougar, bobcat, porcupine, etc. In the event you’re fool hearty, NOT diligent, (lazy) and you leave food items out, that will serve as a chow call for the bears.
FULL DISCLOSURE:
There hasn’t been a bear attack in a very long time up here, and don’t think you're the bear whisperer because you’re not. That title belongs to Father Earth Biscuit. His ghost wanders the woods at night. I observed him playing poker recently late at night with the Sasquatch and bear that lives in these woods. The bear lost and was angry and was departing the area hoping to find a tasty human but found a nice nest of grubs instead and so he forgot about his people hunt. Unfortunately, just as my camera was ready to take video of the whole affair my battery went dead. I needed to get out of there anyway as to that point I had not been detected by them. But they are there!
We biscuits find that bears are people too and they are just trying to fill their calorie needs and they like cheese burgers and chips of any kind with their beer. Don’t leave out the food items. IT WOULD BE A PROVOCATION ON YOUR PART! Enuf said.
Hunting/ shooting is strictly forbidden.
All state fire restrictions are adhered to.
No Rock climbing the cliffs unless you’re an instructor level climber and can show credentials
We have planned this as a FAMILY CAMP GROUND therefore, illegal substance users should look for another place. Your rig must be in good condition. No old 1900s models that clutter city streets down below. I hope you understand our intent here. Be advised that Length of stay is limited.

Be careful standing and walking on the rocks near the water! Many of them are more slippery than you’d expect and people have gotten severely injured- thankfully not at our site!
Our trails to each creekside campsite also require intermediate to advanced skill based on both tripping hazards as well as raw steepness. For your safety, do not book these sites if you are not comfortable navigating extreme terrain!

This land used to be the property of the local market owner. From there you have a pristine and unique view of the sunset falls, where The Dept of Fish and Game built a fish ladder.
You might spot some wildlife including eagles, deers and salmon during the Fall. Don't forget your camera, binoculars and camping chairs to take in the awesome views. Local places to hike include Wallace Falls, Sunset Falls, Lake Serene, Bridal Veil Falls trail ( literally 5 minutes away from us), or maybe you like rock climbing, white water rafting, kayaking or fishing. All are available if you drive to Index; located just minutes away.
Located at the very end of a private community area (you will need the code) , this place offers a very peaceful setting, including the rushing and relaxing sound of the waterfall and the occasional whistle of a train. Approximately 55 miles east of Seattle and 25 miles west of Steven's Pass.
We welcome, tents and camper vans, small to medium groups of campers.
Water access is an adventure and can be challenging for people with mobility issues , after the early 2026 flood in washington, the path has been covered with trees and rock, water is still accessible and cleanup is happening , but be prepared for a small adventure :)

Site 1: 'The Camper's Site'
The ‘RV/Camper Van and Tent Site’ is located to the left as you pull into the property. Park, situate and make yourselves at home near your above ground fire pit and picnic table overlooking that beautiful river. Set up your scene and enjoy.
Site 2: 'The Little Rustic Red Cabin'
The ‘Little Rustic Red Cabin’ site offers an in-ground heart shaped fire pit as well as a picnic table for outdoor dining. Inside the 358 sq ft cabin is a wood stove that heats the place up nicely. The cabin sleeps 4, offering one Queen size bed and one queen futon in the living room that faces a smart t.v. utilizing Starlink Internet. The kitchen offers all of your kitchen needs(minus running water from the faucet).
Also, in the cabin you’ll find a smart speaker to hook up to, two African djembe drums, a ukulele and an Australian didgeridoo. Let your musical side come on out!
Note:
There is no running water on site or septic system. Bring your own drinking water or filter from the river. Water is available in town as well. A porta potty is centered between the camping site and the cabin site.
Generously portioned bundles of firewood including kindling are for purchase located under the cute A-frame structure near outhouse.
Bring your food, water, camp chairs, bug spray, swimsuits, water toys and all your essentials for having a lovely camping and outdoor experience in one of the most beautiful areas of Washington State.

This camp site is very private and peaceful! We will be open from May 1st through September, 2026. We have a 3 night maximum stay per booking.
The site can accommodate up to two RVs or 3-4 tents depending on the distance apart. We allow up to 6 people per booking. The firepit and the Snoqualmie River are about 150' away from your tent or RV. We have a porta-potti at the camp site and also two picnic tables. Pets are welcome at our HipCamp, but we do require that you clean up after them. Near North Bend there are several hiking/biking trails including the trail up Mt. Si., Si View Park, and the Rattlesnake Ridge trail system. For shoppers, we have shops in town and the Factory Outlet Mall. For dining, there are several restaurants in North Bend.

My husband & I put a lot of blood sweat & tears into making this a place our kids would enjoy during our weekend vacations to Leavenworth. We love hiking & there are a ton of nearby hikes. Despite it being located on the other side of the train tracks, we always seem to have a good time. We hope you enjoy it too!

Outdoor enthusiast will enjoy this glamp spot! Utilize the dry cabin equipped with two twin size beds, a pullout couch bed, a dining table with 4 chairs & extra seating. With plenty of space outdoors, feel free to pitch a tent or bring your RV for friends! It is a dry cabin meaning there is no running water. We have it powered with a solar panel which should give enough electricity to charge phones & lights as needed. There is also an outhouse with a compost bucket if you'd like to use that. The downside to this lovely parcel is it's on the opposite side of the train tracks, so there will be occasional noise. Maybe it adds to the uniqueness? Just keep that in mind as once in a blue moon, the train does stop so you may be stuck for a few minutes. Oh & those power lines sometimes make a crackling noise. Sometimes we notice it & other times we don't. Now that we got that out of the way, the pros are it's a great place to explore. There are a ton of nearby hikes. This spot is in between Stevens Pass & the famous Alps candy store, with each being about 15 mins away. There is a gas station/convenient store, a few diners, and a rest stop within 5 minutes. Historical Leavenworth is about 20 mins.
There is a spot for campfires, a small 2 burner propane stove & an ice chest for your convenience, but you will need to bring the propane.

Excellent hosts, easy check in, wonderful property dogs and chickens and exactly the right blend of camping and close to town feel. Hollow Tree spot is tucked away to give some privacy, picnic table and fire pit (fire ban now). Highly recommend. Appreciate the extremely clean toilet. Also great cell reception, if that is needed. Thanks Carlos & Devin, I’ll be back soon.

The campsite was lovely and the sounds and of the creek is fantastic. It is gorgeous. The steps are pretty steep but was a comfy site overall. The dogs loved it and it was private (did have cars pass on main road, about 10 per day)

We really enjoyed this site! Plenty big for 4 tents and cars. There was a picnic table, fire pit, and portapotty. The portapotty was well maintained and had just been cleaned prior to our arrival. So nice to have such close river access and to be able to hear it at night. The cabin next door is close and they do share a toilet but overall we still felt like we had our own space!

This space has abundant privacy and peacefulness. The area both where you park your camper and especially within the sandy area within the trees and along the most relaxing river is wonderful. River Runs Through It comes to mind. This is such a calm and beautiful place, we highly recommend staying here. Plenty of room for larger travel trailers that have the ability to back around a corner into the space provided.

Amazing place to stay. Very open location and allows you to pick wherever to camp on a massive lot. Creeks, woods, grasslands and blackberry bushes. Highly recommend and plan on staying several nights next time.

South Cedar Cove - Nicely located near recreation with beautiful field and mountain views. This area has 4 total sites that have a picnic table and small fire ring. You can see the other campers and their cars but the fields of tall grass and cedars add a lot of privacy. This section is the furthest from the onsite toilet so a personal camp toilet and tent are handy if you have them. Lots of deer.

My family loved staying in the Chalet! Our favorite thing was going down to the river just steps away from the cabins for a cool, refreshing swim. The current is very gentle so that even my 4 and 7 year olds could enjoy the water. It's crystal clear. The hostess Andrea was super kind and friendly.

I loved staying here-it’s so peaceful and beautiful. There is lots of space, so people can spread out. The place is surrounded by beautiful old trees. The road in is bumpy, but doable while towing. Water is available at a hose that ends along the drive in. Bathroom is a one-room out building with a toilet, sink, and shower in one space which was fine and fairly well maintained, but a little tricky when someone is showering, no one else can use it. It was fairly close to where we stayed, but could be far from some of the spaces. My dog really enjoyed the freedom of running all over the place. Only interacted with the host once (on arrival) and they were super friendly and helpful
I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Me and my friends went camping alone for the first time. Without any parents etc. this location was absolutely beautiful. A very secluded area where you see just alone on a nice camp site next to a river. You wake up to a scenic wooded area along a creek which is very fresh and feels amazing to take a dip in! The host was very punctual and helpful and very kind. 100% would recommend camping here.
