Escape to the peaceful beauty of Washington’s Cascades at Timber Canyon Ranch @ Money Creek. Featuring three classic creekside campsites, these quiet retreats each sit on their own individual 10 acreage site. Each offering provides a private pet friendly amount of space where you don’t have to listen to your neighbors dogs, music, etc.. You’ll find yourself surrounded by towering trees, immersed in fresh mountain air, and the soothing sounds of Money Creek. Perfect for tent campers and nature lovers who prefer to car camp, these scenic creekside campsites all offer a relaxing getaway just steps from the water and close to hiking, fishing, a natural cold plunge and several other outdoor adventures. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful weekend getaway or a week immersed in nature, these cozy creekside settings provides the perfect respite to unwind beneath the stars. Also, unlike many of the other sites in the area, there’s no need to worry about train noise or train encounters while staying with us at Timber Canyon Ranch. Please remember to clean up your waste and anything your dog leaves behind ;) We’ve had zero issues yet and desperately want to keep it that way (hence the $100 fine if we find something you’ve left). Some final notes dedicated to safety: Be careful standing and walking on the rocks near the water! Many of them are more slippery than you’d expect and people have gotten severely injured- thankfully not at our site! Our trails to each creekside campsite also require intermediate to advanced skill based on both tripping hazards as well as raw steepness. For your safety, do not book these sites if you are not comfortable navigating extreme terrain!

We have four chairs Creekside with a small campfire pit and enough room for two medium sized tents. Excellent locations for hammocks as well as a small fishing or swimming hole. Perfect site for up to four campers. Entrance to the campsite can be found on Money Creek Road, and is marked by an American flag hanging from the tree. The campsite is only about a 3 1/2 mile drive from the Skykomish River Bridge (off of Hwy 2) and only a two mile drive past the Money Creek bridge. Car parking is within a one minute walk and unlike many campsites in the area there is no need to worry about train noise or train encounters. Please also remember to clean up your waste and anything your dog leaves behind ;) We’ve had zero issues yet and desperately want to keep it that way (hence the $100 fine if we find something you’ve left). A final note on safety: be careful standing and walking on the rocks near the water! Many of them are more slippery than you’d expect and people have gotten severely injured- thankfully not at our site! *Mosquitoes are bad this year- bring repellant*

Blue Hole Beach - Creekside

We have two chairs Creekside with a small campfire pit and a nice spot for swimming to cool off during a Summer day. Excellent location for fishing or a small swimming hole. Picturesque is an understatement. The campsite is about a 3 1/2 mile drive from the Skykomish River Bridge (off of Hwy 2) and only about a two mile drive past the Money Creek bridge. Entrance to the campsite can be found on Money Creek Road, and is marked by a blue toboggan sled hanging from the tree. Campsite is just down a steep dirt slope and a short three minute walk upstream from there. ***This is a new trail so still lots of bushes and sticks to trip on! It’s about a two to three minute walk upstream once you make your way down the treacherous dirt slope (next to the blue toboggan). Also there isn’t an ideal spot for a tent, only a few decent (at best) areas. Car camping is super close and recommended - about two hundred steps from the campsite. Lots of dead wood on trail… makes for lots of tripping hazards but feel free to use the wood for your campfire. There’s several great spots for fires on the rocks. A final note on safety: be careful standing and walking on the rocks near the water! Also, the trail to this creekside campsite requires intermediate to advanced skill based on both tripping hazards as well as raw steepness. For your safety, do not book this site if you are not comfortable navigating extreme terrain! Lastly, a quick note on capacity: the site CAN accommodate 4 people but two is a more comfortable number. Please note that the mosquitoes are bad this year so bring plenty of repellent.

Big Rock Beach - Creekside

RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 10 ft
**pricing currently discounted because the site is new and there is still lots of brush and, although the trail is only three minutes long from car to camp, it’s in quite treacherous shape!** ONLY advanced / experienced hikers / campers please We have two chairs creekside and two more 20 steps away (in the woods). The campsite is about a 3 1/2 mile drive from the Skykomish River Bridge (off of Hwy 2) and just under a two mile drive past the Money Creek bridge. Entrance to the campsite can be found on Money Creek Road, and is marked by a small red toboggan sled hanging from the tree. Campsite is just down a treacherously steep dirt slope (pallet can be carefully used as a ladder) and a short but tricky (new site so still lots of bushes and sticks to trip on) four minute walk upstream from there. Also there isn’t an ideal spot for a tent, only a few decent (at best) areas. Car camping is super close and recommended - about two hundred steps from the campsite. Lots of dead wood on trail… feel free to use for campfire. There’s a great sport for fires on the rocks. A final note on safety: be careful standing and walking on the rocks near the water! Many of them are more slippery than you’d expect and people have gotten severely injured- thankfully not at our site! Also, unlike many of the other sites in the area, there’s no need to worry about train noise or train encounters while staying with us at Timber Canyon Ranch. For your safety, do not book this site if you are not comfortable navigating extreme terrain! Lastly, a quick note on capacity: the site CAN accommodate 4 people but two is a much more comfortable number based on small size of the beach. Please note that the mosquitoes are bad this year so bring plenty of repellent.
