Your stay directly supports Rockland Residency, a program founded by Shawn and Jodi that allows 10 artists twice annually to focus deeply on their creative process. On the premises, you’ll find Jodi’s clay studio, Shawn’s woodshop, secluded writers’ huts, sculptures, and even a forest swing.
Basecamp to the Olympic Peninsula
Using Rockland Woods as your basecamp, you’ll have easy access to the backcountry and coastal trails of the magnificent Olympic National Park. Within an hour, explore the Hood Canal, home to abundant shellfish, including oysters, mussels, and clams. The Olympic Peninsula is a true bucket-list destination and one of the great gems of the United States.
