Our property in Sagle has two separate sites but also close enough to be used as a group campsite. Each has a fire pit and picnic table. There is a porta-potty very close with a sink water disposal and garbage can. Please note there is potable water in the property but not at the sites. These are dry sites without potable water, electricity, sewer hookups or dump. Firewood is available at an additional low cost. ** We Can accommodate a 21' trailer max ** There are other traditional vacation rentals on the property including your hosts home. We are surrounded by tall trees where it is very quiet with the exception of many bird, the distant call of the trains as well as our resident owls. You will find a Lake Pend Oreille is 15 minutes away, Sandpoint is about 10 minutes away with a wonderful swimming beach and Silverwood Theme Park is about 20 minutes. There is lots to do here from fishing and hunting to boating and skiing. Come visit soon!

What a great setup! All the campsites are well marked and easy to get to, even in the dark. It’s a great setup to bring multiple families who want to share a camping experience but have your own space for a person camp experience. Kara the camp host was very good at responding to communication and let my boys and I enjoy some peace and quiet together. The bathroom was cleans and well stocked. We had a blast and would love to come back again!

Weekend Trip to Cozy Mountain Bungalow

The cabin was great - it was a small shed converted into a cabin that had a single (full-sized? queen?) bed with a rocking chair, an armoir, and a small closet. The bathroom was an attached outhouse with sawdust to soak up waste and neutralize any smells. They provided a camping sink with 5 gallons of water, a camping gas stove, a citranella candle, and plates, bowls, and utensils. The cabin sits towards the middle of the driveway to the hosts' house and they have the friendliest dog. My son and I had a great time. Zero light pollution, no noise pollution, just fresh north Idaho air.

Brown Barrel has huge potential to become a really nice spot to get away for some quiet time. We wish we had known that we would be the only ones there as our spot was extremely dusty as it appeared to be more recently established and there was another spot that had gravel and would been a more pleasant spot to set up camp. Generally, the "camp ground" was pretty rough. The flush toilet was a major bonus even though we were fully prepared to dry camp. Our dogs appreciated being able to be off leash.

It was such a great place to stay. Carol and Randall were both so friendly and accommodating. Randall chatted me up about my motorcycle trip and hooked me up with a nice piece of wood for my kickstand. Such a nice place to stay. Highly recommend.

Carol and Randall’s location is perfect! Close to downtown Sandpoint but in the woods with wonderful night time sounds and stars. Camp spot is level, clean and relaxing. I would go back for sure!

This spot was awesome! We loved it. Definitely quiet and clean. The water bucket and fire starters were a nice added bonus. There’s running water available to use just a few steps away and a very clean portable toilet. Randall came to check on us and to introduce himself the second day and tell us a little more about the property. We went walking on the trails and later drove the 12 minutes to the lake to go swimming. You could hear the train in the distance at night but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our time there. Would definitely go back!

Carol and Randall have created a really lovely space in the back of their property. You’re perched up in the trees with lots of wildlife, and I enjoyed listening to the owl hoot. They were flexible and kind and helped accommodate me when I had a change of plans. I would recommend this spot easily!
