7B Cabin
Beauty, wildlife, and hospitality
I had a memorable stay at Cabin 7B. It is in a large field surrounded by woods that are full of wildlife. I saw a coyote and heard them howling at night, saw wild turkeys that tramped through the field, along with deer and bluebirds attracted to the feeders. The cabin is new and very cozy with many thoughtful touches. It's kitchen is fully stocked and the windows provide lots of light and views of the landscape. Both outhouse and shower are artfully crafted, and front and back decks allow for both sun and shade, depending on the time of day. There's a great grill and very efficient, smoke-free woodstove. The host and his partner are awesome. They couldn't have been kinder and more welcoming to me. Aaron made certain I had everything I needed and both of them cheerfully went out of their way to make sure I was more than comfortable and well cared for -- I felt like an honored house guest! In addition, they knew everything about the area, from plants and animals to outdoor recreation of every type to the best places to eat and shop. I give both lodging and hosts a 10/10. In all sincerity, I simply can't offer a higher review. Go see for youself!
