Our property is located on 7 forested acres a few miles from Sandpoint. We have a few different houses on the property where parts of my family live. There are 3 rental spots that are all creek side and next to each other. You can wade in the shallow creek, swim in the pond, enjoy a walk up the road or camp area and just enjoy your camp spot surrounded by the forest and creek. There are also many trails and adventures within a 15 min drive of the property. We have a few dogs that live on property and like to come say hi to the campers and play fetch. The dogs are all friendly, but we ask that any guests bringing their own dogs please keep them on a leash as we do not know how they would all interact each other or local wildlife.

Pull in with your RV or pitch a tent, either way you will be enjoying the beautiful forest and stream just steps away from the campsite. Both sites have full hookups! You will have access to your bit of stream where you can splash around and cool off, or just enjoy the sounds of the water. Please be careful of stinging nettle and devils club that grow near the stream. There is also a pond to swim in and a nature trail around the property. Each site is equipped with a campfire ring and picnic table to enjoy meals at. We ask that you do not wonder into the neighboring campsites or up to the houses located on the property as we want everyone to have their own space. If you want to use the septic dumping option, you will need an extended hose to reach to the dump area at each site. For Power- each site has 50A or standard 120. If you use a 30A you will need to bring an adapter

You will have access to your own little section of stream where you can splash around and cool off, or just enjoy the sounds of the water. Please be careful of the natural plants around the water, such as stinging nettle and devils club. There is also a pond to swim in if your ok with super cold water! If you like a little walk, we also have a nature trail you can venture on that goes along the property line. Each site is equipped with a picnic table to enjoy meals at outside. We ask that you do not wonder into the neighboring sites so each guest has their own space and also do not wonder onto the private homes that are on the property. Steve was a great host, spot 1 had everything I needed and the property was very well kept. He was also very accommodating when I needed to extend my stay.

A perfect stop for us! A convenient, beautiful, level, private, fhu site next to a small creek. Nice picnic table too. It was great letting our dog be leash free. We will come again!!!

We loved camping here! A jewel in the woods. We appreciated the full hookups and the privacy afforded at our site. The host answered all questions quickly. The drive into town was easy. We will definitely return to this camp on our next trip to Sandpoint.

Great Hipcamp! Steve’s spaces are very grounding and obviously a lot of effort went into his spots. We very much enjoy the peace and quiet.

Steve’s place was in great shape and right on a little creek. We saw deer and it was very peaceful and quiet. Site 1 was nice and long with electric near the front of the site so may need an extension cord and/or add’l fresh water hose. A friend was in site 2 which made it handy for us to hang out in either spot, yet still private. The common campfire area had a good spot on the creek for little ones. Site 3 was set off a little further away on the opposite side of the campfire area and more secluded in case rented out. Would definitely come again.

This was an amazing place to camp in. Stunningly beautiful, very private, full hook ups and very good wifi. A creek 10 feet from the back of the site. And it is only five miles to downtown sandpoint. Absolutely wonderful stay, we were sad to leave it. The host is great at communicating with any questions.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! We loved the 2 sites and proximity to each other was perfect for a family camping trip! We listened to the creek as we went to bed. I loved the hookups and even though it was close to town, it felt remote and secluded.

I loved camping at Steve's land. It was very peaceful and quiet, and I loved the stream and mountains. The campsite was easy to get in and out of and it had all the amenities necessary. Couldn't have designed it any better.

Great spot, very quite and peaceful. Close to sandpoint and many fun things close by to see and do, nice long weekend. Family camping trip from Montana and Idaho had both spot 1 and 2.

I reserved both sites 1 and 2. I took 1, my friend and his wife stayed in 1. See my review about site 1 as it also applies to site 2. Site 2 is a bit smaller than site one but equally nice. It was a great place. I'd go back.

Lovely location in Sandpoint!

This was a great site for parking our RV. It was a 10 to 15 minute drive to anywhere in Sandpoint or Dover. The site was spacious and was in a nicely wooded area with a creek passing through. There was electricity and water. Easy to find location with the directions provided. We did not get to meet Steve but would return there next time we are in the area.

Stayed for one night site #1, in 30 ft. Travel trailer. Easy to get to and pretty easy to get situated in the site. Picnic table was not on camp side of trailer but no biggie for one night. Quiet nobody in site #2. Owners dogs came to get up and were friendly with our Golden. Close access to town.

Great peaceful place with the convenience of being just a few minutes from downtown sandpoint. My kids enjoyed playing in the small creek. The campsite was quiet, clean, and beautiful. Our host wworked hard communicating with me when we had some booking issues. We will come again

Beautiful Creekside Camp

The campsite was located in a forested area with a beautiful creek running along side it and deer visiting every night. You felt like you were in the woods but just a 5 minute drive to town. No one camped in the adjacent site when we were there, however, there was ample room for privacy (much more than in a standard campground).

This campsite was amazing! The camp dogs were probably our favorite part, but the creek running right next to us, the very tidy and spacious campsite, the quiet, private space, the close proximity to the best biking trails our family has ever been to, all are a close second. Sandpoint is pretty incredible too! I definitely recommend this campsite and will request to camp again soon.

What a beautiful, little, well-maintained camp site. The gorgeous greenery surrounding you, the quiet little creek and communal sandy beach, the perfect distance from town were all so great, and every hookup for our RV was just the cherry on top. Highly recommend!
