Just ten minutes from Silverwood Theme Park and five minutes from beautiful Farragut State Park! Five Acre Woods Campground is nestled deep in the vast pines on the back half of our property. Enjoy a peaceful stay while still being close to it all. Looking to do some hiking? We are loaded with nearby alpine lakes, peaks, and more trails to suit your needs and adventure cravings. Danny has hiked the majority of them in the area and is always up to help plan and recommend local hikes. Furthermore, we are nearby and centralized to many must-see places. As stated, Silverwood Theme Park and Farragut State Park (including their gun range) are all located ten minutes or less from our property. Other places to see include Bayview, Idaho and Sandpoint, Idaho - both situated on beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. Things to note: -Your site will be fully stocked to meet your tent camping needs! This includes a picnic table, a smokeless fire pit, fire starting materials, and a pad or pads to accommodate your tent(s). -Nicely sized firewood bundles will be available for purchase. -Our campground has a fully functioning outhouse that we take great pride in maintaining to ensure cleanliness and a pleasant experience. It may just be the biggest outhouse you’ve ever seen! -At this time, our campground is off-grid but we do intend to bring water and power to it with time. Upon request and availability, we may be able to assist you with water needs via a garden hose. Your site will have a large six gallon container of non-potable water to be used in the case of a fire emergency (if safe to do so). -Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash. Please pick up after your pet. -Tessa and Danny were both born and raised in Northern Idaho. If you have questions or need suggestions on anything at all feel free to ask! -We live in an area of five acre lots. You can expect to hear the occasional, friendly neighborhood noise. The Bee Tree 🐝

The Bee Tree! This is a large, flat campsite that can accommodate two medium sized tents or one larger sized tent. There's also a small tent pad below the main one, and it could accommodate a smaller one to two person tent. At this site you can expect to have plenty of space between yourselves and the other guests. Guests can expect to park at the designated entry area where they will find a natural, easy to navigate path to their site. Upon arrival, a wheelbarrow will greet you at the parking area. This is a walk-in site only, but it only takes about 30 seconds to get there. Use the wheelbarrow for hauling your gear and belongings to and from your vehicle. There are no hookups at this site, and water is currently unavailable (we do plan on one day bringing water down to the campground) so you will need to bring your own for now. Enjoy your own private picnic table and smokeless fire pit. Nicely sized firewood bundles will be available for purchase. Our campground boasts a beautiful and huge outhouse and is a very short walk from the site.

The Daisy Den 🌼

The Daisy Den! This is our second official campsite here at Five Acre Woods. Access to it will be by walking into the site via a natural, easy-to-follow path. It will only take about 10-20 seconds to walk into your site from the parking lot. Just follow the signs and you'll make it without issue! Upon arrival into your campsite you'll be greeted with a massive tent pad (approximately 19'X14') that should easily accommodate you and your party. You'll find a gravel pad that leads to your Solo Stove smokeless fire pit. If you've never used one of these you'll love the 'flicker of flames' aesthetics that it provides for your evening campfire. The roasting of s'mores and hot dogs on the stove is 100% absolutely permitted 😊 The Daisy Den is the most shaded of our two campsites. While it does receive morning sun, it provides great shelter from the afternoon heat especially during the hot summer months. From your site you can easily follow the trail that will lead you to 'The Pot' (our overbuilt and clean outhouse). My partner and I had the privilege of being the first people to camp out at Tessa and Dannys new site, they did such a good job at at making us feel welcome after our long drive from out of state. They graciously took the time out of their schedule to let us camp on their property even when the site wasn't officially ready. You can tell they put an immense amount of work to make it look clean and professional even for a camping setup. They were kind enough to offer wheel barrels for our gear, a large jug of water, a fire starting kit —along with wood to purchase. The bathroom on their property is without a doubt the nicest one I've seen and used in a long time especially on someones property, I would book again just for that purpose. Its such a private and close property to the theme park Silverwood. We will totally be back next year. Look forward to booking again!! Thanks Tessa and Danny 😄
