Cowlitz Falls Lavender Co. is quietly nestled in the heart of Randle, Washington, surrounded by the beauty of the Cascade Mountain Range and just a stone's throw away from the majestic Mount St. Helens. The fertile ground, courtesy of the active stratovolcano once known as Mount Lawetlat'la, provides the perfect foundation for our lavender fields. With pomace-enriched soil that aids in drainage, our farm boasts lush lavender plants thriving beneath a foot of rich topsoil. A hub for nature enthusiasts, our farm is a gateway to a plethora of outdoor adventures, from nearby campgrounds to the serene Lake Skanewa and the meandering Cowlitz River. The spirit of our farm traces back to 2014 when we embarked on a journey of turning neglected land into a flourishing lavender sanctuary. Despite facing setbacks like the loss of Debbie in 2018, we remain steadfast in carrying forward her vision. Our recent milestone was the grand celebration of Debbie's dream at our largest festival, where thousands flocked to revel in the lavender harvest, painting classes, and community spirit. As we navigate the challenges of farming and entrepreneurship, we are grateful for your support in shaping our lavender legacy.

Majestic Meadows

Majestic Meadows is located on the back forested side of 10 acres. Each campsite is placed far enough apart to have privacy to enjoy the serenity of the camping experience. The property is filled with wild life. Mornings will be greeted with birdsong and our fields occasionally with elk, dear, and coyotes. Our property is a bird haven, so if you love watching birds we get regular sightings of Hawks, Eagles, Sparrows, Robins and little peaks of the adorable Humming birds. Our bunny population has no issues reproducing and filling all our bushes with their cute tails. If adventure is your desire, we are located perfectly! Mt. Rainier scenic drive can be enjoyed from either 401 or a short drive to the southern entrance. Passing through Elbe where you can stop for a nice bite to eat on a train at the Mt. Rainier Railroad Dining Co. or visit a car show in the small quaint town of Eatonville. There's a plethora of things to do from hiking to kayaking, fishing, scenic drives, memorable dining, buying local organic fruit, visiting the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park and so much more. We truly love our property and it's location and we're excited to share it with you. NOTE: Please clean up after pets and do not leave your trash. We do not offer trash services here. If you see a trash bin it is most likely for storing our kindling. Please do not leave your trash in it. Pack it out with you. We maintain our property and clean the toilets once or twice a week. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you might have about your stay or local attractions.

Nani Kiko Island Cabin

Relax and recreate at this beautiful island getaway on Anderson Island, WA. Enjoy the comforts of the Nani Kiko island cabin and its views of the Puget Sound and surrounding pines. Then take advantage of the outdoor recreational activities available on the island. Nani Kiko is a one-room, 10'x11', cabin situated independently on a half acre. It includes a queen bed and single bunk above the queen. The cabin is equipped with electricity and WiFi. Guests are welcome to bring and set up a tent or two for extra sleeping space. A two-person tent is available to rent. A private outhouse with a compostable toilet is next to the cabin for guest use; although, guests can also use the guest bathroom and shower in the main house between 7:00 - 8:30 in the mornings and evenings. Nani Kiko cabin has a private deck and lawn area perfect for relaxing, recreating, and eating meals. A picnic table, sun shade, and lounge chairs are all available for use. Guests can also use the outdoor fire pit for campfires and for cooking. There is free wood and a grill, but you will need to bring your own cookware and service ware for making and consuming your meals. A gas BBQ is available for an extra fee. A fire pit is available for cooking and campfires. There is free firewood and a grill. You will need to bring any cooking gear and utensils if you want to cook food. There are, however, a few roasting skewers, available upon request, that can be used for marshmallows and/or hotdogs. A gas grill is also available for a small rental fee. Recreate during the day with an easy island hike, a walk along the beach, a swim or paddle on Lake Florence, or nine holes of golf at the Riviera Golf Course. We have a couple SUPs and kayaks that can be rented to use on Lake Florence or Oro Bay. Nani Kiko guests can access Puget Sound's water and a beach about a .5 mile walk away from the cabin. When in season, you can pick, eat, and cook the wild blackberries and huckleberries on the property. And keep your eyes open for deer, coyotes, chipmunks, bald eagles, and a myriad of song birds. We are very welcoming of those who are BIPOC and LGBTQIA+.

Leave behind the congested RV park and experience a unique and tranquil oasis of natural beauty. Pick between two RV parking spots, with septic, 30 amp electric and water. Enjoy your own fire pit, a covered picnic shelter with lighting, horseshoe pits and a covered porch with a swing. Access the property with a U-shaped, pull-through drive, or simply back in/out. The property is located at the dead end of a road with a large, paved cul de sac for easy turning . You'll be centrally located to the best of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer: Mt. Rainier National Park (12 miles to the Stevens Canyon entrance and 28 miles to the Nisqually entrance in the summer....longer in the winter), White Pass (including the ski resort and the Pacific Crest Trail), the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, the Cowlitz River, Packwood Lake, and endless hiking trails. Looking for more? You're also not far from Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams. While you feel like you've stepped away from it all, you're still just a few miles away from the amenities of Packwood, including shopping, restaurants, gas, etc. Fall asleep to the soft sounds of nearby Butter Creek, and wake up to fresh forest air. Spend your days exploring what makes the Pacific Northwest so amazing, and relax at night gathering around the large fire pit or enjoying time together under the covered picnic shelter. A second RV is allowed for an additional fee (contact owner), though electrical service is only available for one RV (septic and water available for two). One tent is allowed provided it is accompanied by a fully contained RV with a bathroom. The maximum occupancy is 6 persons regardless of the number of RV's or if a tent is used. Some guess have reported that using slide outs leaves little to no room to walk past the slide outs without having to walk off the driveway; if your vehicle has slide outs this may not be an ideal location for your vacation. Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R&R as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups, family reunions, workshops, or what have you. A rustic kitchen, two 6' dining tables, and a fire pit with accessories make setting up camp a cinch. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm there is something of interest for everyone here. If you're looking to explore the area, Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the East Side, and the Pacific Coast are all just day trips from here. In addition, we are midway between Portland and Seattle and just 15 minutes off of I-5 making Pleasant Places a perfect 'meet in the middle' location. Locally, Mayfield, Ike Kinswa, and Riffe lakes provide lots of boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. Just five minutes away, Carlisle Lake offers walking trails, outdoor exercise equipment, fishing opportunities, summer concerts, and a playground for the kids. At camp you can pick a deer trail and walk through a budding new forest or pick a bunch of wild blackberries, apples, mushrooms, or flowers. Enjoy communing with our goat, chicken, and duck friends. Other animals include deer, skunk, coyote, and possum—bear and cat are not common, but please do be conscientious about leaving food out. While the campsite, play space, and driveway loops are mowed, most of the grounds are wild so bring your tromping shoes. We also have a play field (with a net) so pack your movie screen, volleyball, soccer ball, badmitton set and bicycles. We are Judy and Summer and Chula, mother and daughter and dog, and we are pleased you are considering a stay with us. This is the perfect spot for family and friends to get together. This property has three 30 amp 120 volt receptacles one for each RV/pay per hookup/per night. As there are NO bathroom facilities on the property, tents MUST be in conjunction with an RV that has an indoor toilet/shower (no outdoor showering). NO TENT ONLY camping. Located in High Valley Country Club (HVCC) neighborhood, Golf at the HVCC, which is about 500ft away from the property, Guest Fees are $40.00 including Holidays or Swim-Guest Fees are $10.00 and Holidays are double. Let me know if you want to be registered as guests to use these facilities. The property is close to Packwood (4.5 mi) where you will find groceries, restaurants, pizza, The Goat (Mountain Goat Coffee Company) and two breweries. There are several hiking choices. There are hiking trails and public access to the Cowlitz River. Visit skatecreekpark.org for more information. Goat Rocks Wilderness and Mt. Rainier trails are a short drive away. During the winter months, White Pass ski area and snowmobile parks, Sno-Park Skate Creek and Sno-Park Orr Creek are in the area.
