Beautiful campsite with wonderful hosts. They were very accommodating and friendly. The site is pleasant, clean, and quiet. Close to various activities. We would return.

We loved Moon Meadow. Wildflowers and trees and wildlife. Great place for getting away. Wish I had more time to explore. Kathleen is a great host and definitely highly recommend. It is remote enough to be peaceful yet not far from civilization.

Absolutely amazing trip the only complaint I have is that 3 days was much too short. We cannot wait to go back! The campsite was fairly level perfectly maintained and very clean. The campground as a whole was beautiful. Barb and Terry are wonderful hosts very friendly and informative. We enjoyed talking with them and learning about how they started their Hipcamp. Barb is a wonderful and extremely talented artist and my wife and daughters took a class that they enjoyed very much. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you Barb and Terry the amount of care and attention you place into campsites are evident.

Weekend Trip to Poulsbo Hidden Creek Hideaway

What a spot! Super nice. Amazing location, beautiful little homestead, quiet and convenient.

We enjoyed ourselves in the yard and at the fire pit. The tent at night was magical with the lights and the cozy atmosphere. Loved that out lil dog Buck could roam a bit. However the maintenance side could use some attention. My husband had to clear away nettles and garbage from the pit area and fix the futon bed twice. The bathroom was what was expected in services, which was great, but could have been cleaner in my opinion. Overall would come back for a quick stay or group camping.

Basecamp is such a tranquil and beautiful place. The cabins are cozy and the land is so peaceful. Pete and Clare are amazing hosts and a stone's throw away if you need anything during your stay. I will definitely be staying again

We pulled in to discover that we had the place to ourselves, beautiful property, very peaceful. Had our 2 dogs with us that just loved the trails and the creek, so many smells and things to see they were pooped out early which gave us a quiet night to enjoy the stars. Highly recommend and would definitely consider coming back to enjoy in the future.

Weekend Trip to The Arboretum at Bear Canyon West

The Forest Farm was magical! The cabins make a perfect basecamp to explore the rest of the land, and there is an excellent (covered) outdoor seating area with a fire-ring and hammock. But my favorite part of the stay was exploring the trails down into the forest. I would highly recommend this space for anyone looking to escape into the woods of the PNW.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We took a family camping trip and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The property was stunning, hospitality was fantastic and overall such an easy experience. We explored the property with our 2 kids and dogs and took the river trail down to the water. Everything about our stay was breath taking. Wide open space for our kiddos to be crazy and not feel like you're camping on top of the site next you. The property was extremely well maintained and felt like we were on a retreat.

Weekend Trip to AYH Ranch Campground & Lodging

We had a wonderful time camping at AYH Ranch! Getting there from the ferry was easy and there were plenty of spots to choose from when we arrived on a Friday evening. Judy recommended a spot in the shade for our little camper on a very warm weekend, which worked out perfectly. The bathrooms were clean and convenient. And because there are so many good restaurants near by, we didn’t even check out the kitchen. Look forward to camping here again!

The property was beautiful and there were lots of friendly people everywhere. The facilities were nice. The outdoor showers were amazing! The only real complaint that I would have is that it was kind of crowded.. the sites are very close to each other. The mosquitoes were horrendous but that was beyond their control... otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm

Really fantastic cabin and both Khohay and J were really excellent hosts and made it feel like visiting old friends. They have put a lot of thought and love to make the place so welcoming and nice. I highly recommend this place.

The tent was well taken care of, and we didn't realize there was an outdoor kitchen which was very nice to use. They also gave us some charcoal to use for the bbq. And the outdoor shower is beautiful.

Beautiful property, camped close to the creek, with tons of beautiful trees. Would be very accommodating for large groups that like having hookups. The host was very friendly, and my dog and I enjoyed the private tour. Highly recommended, I will be returning in the future!

My son and I have a lovely time here for his birthday! The outdoor shower house and the communal kitchen area were some of his favorite parts. The garden area and the trails in the back are absolutely gorgeous and abundant with a variety of native plant species. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

I continue to try to be a good steward to this little piece of land with very big trees. One side faces my studio with drive through access to a bunkhouse and hookups and the other is tent camping with room to explore. With a dog yard available you will be able to relax and enjoy. Learn more about this land: Part meadow part stand of very tall trees, over 70 years old with birds, hummingbirds, deer. Choose to camp there or in a wheelchair excessable drive next to a 1940 era grocery store that is now my pottery studio. A large bunkhouse is also on site in case of rain, if not rented. The trail system borders this lot. Hunting is closeby and we are also close to Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. Bike, ride or walk 3 miles (or a 2 min drive) on the trail to the town of Wilkeson where you can find cute shops, bars and the best rated pizza in Washington! Visit the Soda Shop for a drink or bite to eat! Soda shop is family friendly, pets allowed, with indoor and outdoor activities, yard games, live music and more. Visit Carlson Block wood fired pizza for dinner, rated the best pizza in Washington! Visit the historic Carbonado Saloon within walking distance from property. See the historic one lane Fairfax Bridge right past town, you can hike underneath it next to the river or drive over it to get to Mt. Rainier national park. We are located on a greenbelt off a dead end street. Enjoy the view of the city lights right outside your van or say hi to our two friendly goats. You might spot our resident coyotes or friendly bunnies during your stay. 10 minutes from the city but feels like you are out in your own private forest! Hose hook up and standard power outlet (15amp) available during your stay. Only a 10-15 minute uber/taxi to downtown or 5 minutes to nearby restaurants/bars. Not the most walkable but just a short car ride from most things! (Downtown, Alki Beach, Georgetown, Airport) We live in an urban setting so you may encounter noise from nearby vehicles, airplanes, fire trucks, etc. This site can only accommodate camper vans or class c motor homes no larger than 25ft. Driver will need to backdown our long driveway to park in the designated site on the side of our house. Please no more than three people and one vehicle. We may be able to make accommodations based on your situation but please message us first! We can only accommodate towable rvs no larger than 20ft in total length including trailer tongue. You must be able to backdown long driveway and park tow vehicle on street. Campfires are welcome in the designated fire pit at the bottom of our hill. Please note there are quite a few steep steps to get there. Please request using this area in advance. Option to purchase farm fresh eggs from our neighbors chickens. Half dozen are $5.00 and can be requested in advance. We operate our rental business out of our home so you may encounter driveway traffic during your stay.

A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget. The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue. The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants. If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Arboretum at Bear Canyon West

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. St. Helens, & Olympic National Park, just 3 minutes from Rainbow Falls State Park and 4 minutes from Willapa Biking Trail! We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 56 acres of mixed biomes including multi-generational forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn onto Labri road (white sign) and you're on the property after going through a gate. Meander down the road past a red barn and several buildings on your right. Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left (look for a blue and white ribbon) you will come up to a tree line where you can park (another blue and white ribbon) and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp. You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. The most ideal spot is right after you park near the blue and white ribbon if you walk North you'll see a site marked with an orange and white ribbon. This site has easy access to the creek but is still on a hill. There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We have two RV sites with no hook up (boondocking) but bathroom and shower access. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park. The site is located on a hill so you get very nice view of sunsets and sunrises. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby fruit trees bring in many birds. We are an ideal location for those who love the outdoors or just want to have private family events. 6 mi from Jones Creek Brewing, 7 mi from Evey's Cafe & Pe Ell, 20 mi from I-5, 69 mi Westport Quiet hours are from 11pm - 8am.

Property is a 5-acre gated horse farm surrounded by wooded military property on 3 sides. Conveniently located 15-20 minutes from Tacoma and Olympia. Just 5 mins to Starbucks/coffee and grocery stores but far enough away from the city so it feels more secluded. American Lake and Spanaway Lake (and their parks with playgrounds) for swimming and paddle boarding are both just 5 mins away! The owner lives on site, as well as several horses, chickens, and a dog. Large stone fire pit with chairs near house is available for camper use. Pending: Paddle board rental and bicycles for use on property or trails! Set-up your tent anywhere within the horse paddocks - there are no specific sites, although there is a small fire pit and rustic bench seating at far back corner of property. Tents can be outside of horse areas as well, if preferred. RV dry camping anywhere within or outside horse areas. For RVs needing dedicated electrical/water hookup, there are specific sites closer to the house. ***If you are travelling with more than one vehicle, please purchase an car extra parking spot.*** Only four 30amp RV spots are available and are most easily accessible for Rvs under 30'. Standard 110volt outlets can also be available for RV use. Woodbrook Hunt Club, the oldest fox hunting club west of the Mississippi, is a neighbor so lots of horseback riding goes on in the neighborhood. (Dragged scent only, no live foxes are harmed.) Private horseback riding lessons or guided trail rides available by reservation only, subject to weather and owner availability.
