We do not take late comers as we are a farm and are early to bed and early to rise. I'm sorry! We are the third generation in this location and the great grandparents had the adjoining property. My father was born and died in this house, and I was raised here also. After teaching for 32 years my husband and I inherited the farm from my folks who have since passed. There are no orchards left on the property but we are moving on with a vegetable and flower garden, goats, chickens and a llama. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. This is for the adventurous Hipcamper that appreciates the bumpy dirt road. Your Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla won't get you here. Cell service is limited. It is not recommended to arrive after sunset But it is so worth it. Come relax and enjoy the views of the Columbia River and the North Cascades. Plenty of sunshine with epic sunsets, our property is where you come to unwind and soak in the sun when the west side of the Cascades is socked in with clouds and rain. If you want to explore the area, it's about a 10-minute car ride to the Columbia River and 20 minutes to Chelan and all that is offered there. Our favorite activities when we visit are to listen to the birds chirp and take in the surroundings. There are several lava rock piles that speak to the long and volcanic geological history of the area. We also really enjoy walking the dirt road on the ridge. It provides some of the most incredible views in the area. The dirt road section over the ridge can be a little rough and dusty and it's recommended that guests have a medium clearance vehicle, such as a Subaru Outback. However, a guest once drove their Honda Civic down to the site, so it really depends on your comfort level. If in doubt, just ask! We have a security camera on site we use for wildlife sightings and to check the weather. If the idea of having the camera bothers you, feel free to place a blanket or some other type of cover during your stay. We can also turn the camera to only face the entrance. Just let us know. Please respect the surroundings and others' property. There are several other vacation cabins in the area and everyone enjoys their peace and quiet. We provide a privy for guests to use, but be prepared to pack out waste in case it doesn't meet your standards. We try to keep it clean and stocked with TP, but we can only get out to the land every few weeks. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, Sagebrush Hollow is the place for you.

We stayed for a quick overnight trip - the grassy lot was perfect for our stay and fit us and a couple other camper vans with plenty of space and quiet. We left soon after sunrise, but were glad we got to visit with the goats and chickens first! Would come back!

Great location with stunning views. It's definitely up there, and the road initially feels a little sketchy, but don't let that scare you. I was easily able to tow a 30ft trailer up no problem, and Chris came right out to assist and asked if I needed anything! Being so high, be prepared for wind, but if you get a night with no wind, the sunset views are amazing! I would definitely stay at these sites again!

Weekend Trip to Elevate Vineyards

Elevate vineyards was such a unique experience for tent camping. Stunning views of Lake Chelan, you get a sunrise view over the mountains and a sunset view over the lake. Remote enough but also not a far drive to the lake. Mike is a welcoming host. The drive up is a couple miles of unpaved road but not too difficult to navigate.

Weekend Trip to Farm Stays At Chelan Ranch

Great place with a beautiful view of the Valley, highly recommend staying at this location, I will be returning. The gift bag upon arrival was a real treat. Has lots of cool and interesting things to do while visiting including some treats. The fresh fruit right beside the camp spot was another great treat and nice to have. This is an active farm so take that into consideration when booking. Extremely respectful people that work on the farm that respect peoples privacy, very friendly work force. Would highly recommend this location, only 7 minute drive to amenities and beach areas.

His property is super super clean and most amazing right next to the river. I will definitely go back for a weekend vacation or any camping trip. Weekend Trip to Sagebrush Hollow

This place is one of its kind. Perfect place to spend a peaceful weekend. We loved the setup and getting up there will definitely need a 4×4 as a small patch of the route up is a bit rough. The host was great in guiding us ahead with the right route to the place and was helpful with passing on some information way ahead. Cellular signal up there wasn't bad for us. I'll be recommending this place to a few of my jeep friends who a package of offroading and camping.

This was such a magical stay for my spouse and I! Sunset paddle boarding, cozy chairs to have coffee in the morning, private access to the lake and lots of adventure and wildlife near by! We hope to stay again soon!
