These camps are on a 24 farm with about 3,500' of frontage on the Entiat River. The land's history has included use as pasture, orchards, and flower farm. It's currently identified as a USDA type silvopasture farm. The priority crop is growing native fir trees that will be harvested in 60+ years as telephone poles. During this time, the land will be grazed by a variety of livestock balanced to keep fields and animals healthy and productive. The current owners purchased the farm fall of 2023 from a family estate that owned it since the 1970s. It is considered a legacy project as work progresses to Firewise the land in support of old growth native trees and maximum summer shade for salmon. During the 2025 grazing season, the NE pasture of 5 acres along the river fed 8 Katahdin Sheep. This is for the adventurous Hipcamper that appreciates the bumpy dirt road. Your Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla won't get you here. Cell service is limited. It is not recommended to arrive after sunset But it is so worth it. Come relax and enjoy the views of the Columbia River and the North Cascades. Plenty of sunshine with epic sunsets, our property is where you come to unwind and soak in the sun when the west side of the Cascades is socked in with clouds and rain. If you want to explore the area, it's about a 10-minute car ride to the Columbia River and 20 minutes to Chelan and all that is offered there. Our favorite activities when we visit are to listen to the birds chirp and take in the surroundings. There are several lava rock piles that speak to the long and volcanic geological history of the area. We also really enjoy walking the dirt road on the ridge. It provides some of the most incredible views in the area. The dirt road section over the ridge can be a little rough and dusty and it's recommended that guests have a medium clearance vehicle, such as a Subaru Outback. However, a guest once drove their Honda Civic down to the site, so it really depends on your comfort level. If in doubt, just ask! We have a security camera on site we use for wildlife sightings and to check the weather. If the idea of having the camera bothers you, feel free to place a blanket or some other type of cover during your stay. We can also turn the camera to only face the entrance. Just let us know. Please respect the surroundings and others' property. There are several other vacation cabins in the area and everyone enjoys their peace and quiet. We provide a privy for guests to use, but be prepared to pack out waste in case it doesn't meet your standards. We try to keep it clean and stocked with TP, but we can only get out to the land every few weeks. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, Sagebrush Hollow is the place for you.

Camp spots are next to each other, so there's not a lot of "wild forest camping" here.  We refer to it as urban camping. All spots are level and graveled. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise in the area, as we are near Highway 2.   There are also picnic tables in the camping area for all campers to use as well as several hammocks.. Access to the river is very nearby. Weekend camping is limited, and you may occasionally hear the sound of a train whistle. WiFi and a fire pit are included, as well as on-site port-a-potties.  Hot outdoor showers are also on-site and available to all rafters and campers. There is a large communal fire pit, but no individual campfire pits; however, the option is to bring a propane stand-alone fire pit.  Fires are allowed in April, May, and June; the fire ban starts on July 1st due to wildfire concerns. No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control and monitored at all times.   Our property features potable water, on-site outdoor showers, and a foot-operated hand wash station.  Our camping area is somewhat small and does not have grass, but it is graveled.  Please be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music at a low to medium volume.  Please bring a photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form.  Additionally, we are a river rafting company, so we may not have anyone present when you arrive - don't worry, we are likely on the river and will return soon!  *** Please message before booking to ensure we are a good match***

We had a great visit on Renato’s land. It was so beautiful and we had the place to ourselves! We did a wine tasting with Renato and his wine is delicious! It was wonderful hearing the story of his winery and learn about his love for wine making. Our dogs had so much fun playing fetch on our site. The spots are huge with plenty of room for pets and kids to run around and explore! Beautiful views of the valley to wake up to. Thank you for hosting us Renato!

This is a lovely spot with the view of the canyons and vineyard. We chose site 4 as it was more remote than the sites with electrical that are closer to the road. So we had no services but the ports potty was clean and convenient. You really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere in cool off the grid way yet its not hard to get to and Renee was so kind with a wine tasting and telling us about his organic wines. Very fun!

3 nights at Sasquatch Villa

Great location with stunning views. It's definitely up there, and the road initially feels a little sketchy, but don't let that scare you. I was easily able to tow a 30ft trailer up no problem, and Chris came right out to assist and asked if I needed anything! Being so high, be prepared for wind, but if you get a night with no wind, the sunset views are amazing! I would definitely stay at these sites again!

Weekend Trip to Farm Stays At Chelan Ranch

Great place with a beautiful view of the Valley, highly recommend staying at this location, I will be returning. The gift bag upon arrival was a real treat. Has lots of cool and interesting things to do while visiting including some treats. The fresh fruit right beside the camp spot was another great treat and nice to have. This is an active farm so take that into consideration when booking. Extremely respectful people that work on the farm that respect peoples privacy, very friendly work force. Would highly recommend this location, only 7 minute drive to amenities and beach areas.

Overall a great experience, and would recommend to anyone. The campsite was remote, and quiet even with other campers around. Renato was an incredible host, and checked in regularly to make sure we had what we needed. If you like wine tasting, that was an awesome perk as well. The campsite was spacious, plenty big for a large or small group. Lots to do within an hour of the campsite location. I will definitely be coming back!

Scott & Amy were incredibly hospitable and generous hosts. They were extremely helpful, friendly and highly communicative. When Scott thought there was a better option for us, he showed us and let us make that decision. When asked, Amy provided an excellent choice of coffee and breakfast places, and her selections were right on the money. Overall, this was a great place to camp, and I would 10/10 stay here again.
