We do not take late comers as we are a farm and are early to bed and early to rise. I'm sorry!
We are the third generation in this location and the great grandparents had the adjoining property. My father was born and died in this house, and I was raised here also. After teaching for 32 years my husband and I inherited the farm from my folks who have since passed. There are no orchards left on the property but we are moving on with a vegetable and flower garden, goats, chickens and a llama. We have a gorgeous view of Lake Chelan but can only offer dry camping at this time. Our area has a multitude of things to do!

This is for the adventurous Hipcamper that appreciates the bumpy dirt road. Your Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla won't get you here. Cell service is limited. It is not recommended to arrive after sunset
But it is so worth it.
Come relax and enjoy the views of the Columbia River and the North Cascades. Plenty of sunshine with epic sunsets, our property is where you come to unwind and soak in the sun when the west side of the Cascades is socked in with clouds and rain.
If you want to explore the area, it's about a 10-minute car ride to the Columbia River and 20 minutes to Chelan and all that is offered there.
Our favorite activities when we visit are to listen to the birds chirp and take in the surroundings. There are several lava rock piles that speak to the long and volcanic geological history of the area. We also really enjoy walking the dirt road on the ridge. It provides some of the most incredible views in the area.
The dirt road section over the ridge can be a little rough and dusty and it's recommended that guests have a medium clearance vehicle, such as a Subaru Outback. However, a guest once drove their Honda Civic down to the site, so it really depends on your comfort level. If in doubt, just ask!
We have a security camera on site we use for wildlife sightings and to check the weather. If the idea of having the camera bothers you, feel free to place a blanket or some other type of cover during your stay. We can also turn the camera to only face the entrance. Just let us know.
Please respect the surroundings and others' property. There are several other vacation cabins in the area and everyone enjoys their peace and quiet.
We provide a privy for guests to use, but be prepared to pack out waste in case it doesn't meet your standards. We try to keep it clean and stocked with TP, but we can only get out to the land every few weeks.

This place is one of its kind. Perfect place to spend a peaceful weekend. We loved the setup and getting up there will definitely need a 4×4 as a small patch of the route up is a bit rough. The host was great in guiding us ahead with the right route to the place and was helpful with passing on some information way ahead. Cellular signal up there wasn't bad for us. I'll be recommending this place to a few of my jeep friends who a package of offroading and camping.

This was such a magical stay for my spouse and I! Sunset paddle boarding, cozy chairs to have coffee in the morning, private access to the lake and lots of adventure and wildlife near by! We hope to stay again soon!

Weekend Trip to Daisystation
My son and I had a great time here. The hosts were great - super flexible with the fact that we didn't show up until about 9pm. They waited up to show us around. The next day, they were gone and it was just me and my son in the cabin, enjoying the lake for the whole weekend. There is some noise from vehicles driving by since the property is just off the road, but it's a secluded part of the state and it wasn't bad enough to cause any problems at all. I do recommend bringing a fan if you're visiting in the warmer months, but it cooled down enough at night that we had no problems sleeping. On top of that, the night sky was perfectly clear and the Milky Way was out in all its glory. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved my stay at this little cabin. It’s tucked away in a beautiful spot, with sweeping views of the valley and mountains that make you feel completely removed from the rush of everyday life. The directions to get there were clear, and while cell coverage is minimal, there’s just enough to make a call if needed—which struck the perfect balance between isolation and peace of mind.
The cabin itself has everything you need, and the solar-powered battery pack was a thoughtful perk. Nights were especially magical—stargazing here is absolutely incredible.
If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, recharge, and soak in nature with a breathtaking view, this cabin is the perfect getaway.

Weekend Trip to Sagebrush Hollow
This has to be one of the best Hipcamps ever! The views are incredible, especially at sunset. The cabin is very cute and cozy, and has everything you need. I didn't think the road was bad at all - my Ram Promaster van made it just fine, but it definitely depends on your experience with dirt roads and comfort level. It was so peaceful and quiet, with a lot of deer around. I couldn't recommend this place more!

This is one of the rare places that is BETTER than the pictures! More like a nice hotel suite with a kitchen. Comfy extra wide bunks for my two teenagers and a private bedroom for us. So many thoughtful little touches—cool lamps, toiletries, and you don’t have to go outside for the immaculate bathroom. It’s in an RV/bunkhouse resort, so you walk or drive a bit to recreation. We were there to see the Grand Coulee—spectacular free night light show at the Dam and the turbine tour in the morning. (Free.) I include the picture of the view from the back bedroom because, while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s very much mine. I was there to show my kids the immense scale of inland industrial infrastructure. There were decoupling trains in the early morning and my 17 year old and I watched the engines—and the deer—and talked about what it took to build American civilization, from the silos to the trains to the dams. It turned philosophical. Absolutely loved it and will be back.

I cannot express how lovely my night here was. We arrived late after dark and we were greeted so kindly by the host. Waking up in the morning to see the most beautiful property was a treat. I would absolutely stay here again, I only wish I had more time to stay there!

Weekend Trip to Secluded goat pasture and lake view
Sari has done wonderful job converting her flower barn into a quaint room. The Bouquet Barn was a unique and cozy stay. Sari was a wonderful host, and her animal friends were fun to interact with. The flower field was in bloom, and the view with Lake Chelan in the distance is spectacular.
The barn itself features a comfortable queen size bed, a lamp on a side table as well as overhead lighting, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The outdoor dining area features a table with 4 chairs, an umbrella and a mat underneath. It ended up being little too cold for us to use the outdoor shower (cold water only), but she has a good shower setup on the deck. She did have a solar shower bag, but the overcast weather made heating the water difficult. The outhouse is in an ideal proximity to the barn. Sari had good, clear signage in the outhouse about the operation of the composting toilet.
I would recommend the Bouquet Barn to anyone who is looking for cozy and affordable accommodations for a night or even longer.

Weekend Trip to Sagebrush Hollow
Sean’s campsite was just what I was looking for: a rustic cabin with great views of the valley below, the Colombia river. I was treated to an amazing sunset. I set up my hammock in a row of pines and comfortably read during the better part of a very sunny afternoon.
The cabin has the essentials— fire starters, axes, water, camp stove, toilet paper—plus a power supply and two cozy sleeping platforms with bedrolls.
I have a more rugged 4WD vehicle and was glad for that. Part of what makes this site great is it’s a bit of a climb through gravel and dirt switchbacks to get there. A sport utility vehicle like a Honda CRV could manage but you might eat a few rocks on the way.

1 night at Secluded goat pasture and lake view
Sari and Rick were so lovely. We chatted while petting baby goats after arriving. The property was way high up, a beautiful view of the mountains and Lake Chelan. It was seriously incredible. The Bouquet Barn was cozy as hell, even getting down to 38 at night it was still so warm with the covers and very well insulated. The baby goats and other animals were so cute, and we got some petting in. They have two dogs, Rip and Moose and a little cat named Thomas. All so sweet! I kept leaving the barn to take in the view. Not just from the lake but behind the house, the rolling hills look like a painting. Rick and Sari, thank you for having us so early in the year! It was a much needed break from the city.
