The Navy OLF is nearby. It is recommended you check the flight schedule for dates and times the jets will be flying. Depending on the direction they happen to be flying that night, it can get quite loud. In those instances, ear protection is recommended. About a third of summer weekdays the OLF is used. The jets do not fly on weekends and holidays. Having said all of this, most campers enjoy the airshow, as it is a unique opportunity.
The camp site is approximately 6 acres located in a quiet secluded forest area near highway 525. A fire pit is provided on non-burn ban days. A flat grassy area is big enough to enjoy your recreation activity of choice. Bring your binoculars and check out all the different kinds of birds. Nearby wetlands provide lots of food for birds, bats, and dragonflies. Other wildlife you may see are deer, bunnies, owls, quail, butterflies, garter snakes, and raccoons. Lots of native flora can be identified with your plant identification app or book. The beach is about a mile away where you can hunt for sea glass and enjoy the waves or build yourself a shelter out of driftwood.
The mostly flat gravel road can accommodate any size RV.

Only 5 minutes off Interstate 5, our 14-acre private property is both peaceful and relaxing, surround yourself in nature on the border of our pond and you’ll see that the view changes every day.
During the day enjoy a fun canoe, kayak or paddle boat on the water while you fish our (catch and release) pond, explore the property, or relax and nature-watch for the various birds, amphibians, and other animals. At night enjoy the ballet of bats that dance above the pond while you relax around your private fire-pit under the stars.
There are so many things to do! Every Saturday during the Summer the "Skagit Speedway" is open (3 minutes away),"The Skagit Casino" (5 minutes away), or there are several lakes near by you could swim or paddle board at within minutes of the camp ("Lake Padden" 12 minutes away)! Mountain biking can be done at "Galbraith Mountain" only 12 minutes away! If hiking is more your speed we are also located only 5 minutes away from "Alger Alp Trail" or "Squires Lake Trail" to name a few. Don't want to cook "Alger bar and Grill" is right down the road or 20 minutes away in Bellingham there are many restaurants and popular breweries to choose from!
All campsites are equipped with umbrella picnic tables and their own fire pits with pull down grate (outside of burn bans), and we are pet friendly!

We are situated on 15 beautiful acres of open field, forested walking trails and the lovely Samish River. You’ll have your choice of 4 large perfectly dedicated sites ready for your time away from home and outdoor enjoyment.
‘Wildlife Acres Ln’ rings true to the scene; bunnies, birds and families of deer feel right at home in our field.
Our trails are awesome. I’d highly recommend good shoes/hiking boots and maybe even hiking poles or a walking stick for the two steep areas. Note; the trail down to the river is steep, but so worth the venture 💦
Delicious drinking water is available on site. A large ss sink is situated right next to the garden. No hot water is available, but you can always heat some on your cook stove.
I will have garden and farm fresh seasonal eggs, berries and veggies for purchase in the cooler near the sink for anything you may have forgotten or would like to enjoy for your evening meals or breakfast.
Skagit Valley is such a beautiful area with so much to explore in every direction. We have a lot of visitors that just want to escape the city for a moment and relax in nature under a big beautiful starlit sky. We also have outdoor enthusiasts that come for specific destinations such as Mount Galbraith, many different hiking trails, bird watching just past the adorable little towns of Bow and Edison, Deception Pass, scenic Chuckanut drive bringing you to the fun and happening city of Bellingham.
Skagit Speedway is popular for many (you’ll hear some Vroom Vrooms and fireworks my camper friends as we are just a couple miles from that kind of fun).
I highly recommend trying true, LOCAL food from North 40 Farm Store which is 10 minutes down the way located off F&S Grade Road where you can find natural grass fed Black Angus beef, pork, milk, eggs, bread and more! Experience the difference.
A little starter bundle of firewood will be provided for each site and more available for purchase if you won’t be bringing your own and would rather not purchase from a gas station.
Doggies are most definitely welcome.😊 Very Important–We have free range ducks and other animals that must NOT be chased. Off-leash doggies are welcome on the walking trails and down at the river only. 'Close calls' are no fun for anyone and we've had them. Enjoy your stay!

Lovely site with beautiful view in central Sequim. Discovery trail crossing in just a few blocks away and access to Olympic NP Hurricane Ridge And Lake Crescent are all less than an hour away. Lavender was still on their plants. Unfortunately the rain prevented us from using the covered area much.

We had a wonderful time camping on Rachel’s farm. There was plenty of space to spread out, lots of flat ground for tents, and my young child especially loved spending time with the animals. One thing to keep in mind: with animals nearby, you may hear roosters at all hours. This might not be ideal for everyone, so it’s worth noting.

Had a beyond amazing experience on Jess and Robs property!! They are the best hosts and helped make our anniversary trip a beautiful one with flowers and local cider! Super thoughtful. The space was perfect for our lil family with so much space to run and play. Having a bathroom and washing station close by was nice too. The fire pit was perfect for a little fire under the stars. Would totally recommend them and would love to go back again! Super stoked we found their property😃

Our crew stayed at the Garden View site and found it very comfortable camping. Plenty of room for 3 large tents, close to the restroom and water and very quiet. Jess and Robert were so warm and welcoming - even when our kids kept going on to their property to see their ducks and sweet dogs. Having trails to walk on the property was a lovely bonus though the path to the river is quite steep. It was so lovely to get to have a campfire in the cool evenings and see the stars at night! We will be back!

Lovely spot! Close by state parks, the ferry, trails and the beach. Very private, quiet and lots of fury friends/birds in the area. The porta potty was spotless and has hand washing which was great. Although you’re next to the highway we found it easy to fall asleep and peaceful at night! Plenty of space for any vehicle/set up.

Pros: The site is lovely, spacious, and well-equipped. We appreciated the fire pit, big tables, and huge trees (plenty of shade!). We enjoyed visits from the sweet resident cat and cow. The provided porta potty was clean and had plenty of TP. There's plenty of flat, shady ground for pitching tents. Rachel was very kind and quick to respond to my questions through the app!
Cons: When we arrived, the trash can was overflowing and the fire pit was full of cigarette butts. There were small bits of trash scattered around the site. The hand sanitizer in the toilet ran out on the second day. We were all confused at first about where to park (but figured it out quickly). There was often someone hanging around directly adjacent to the site, which was unexpected (though they were quiet and out of the way). The rooster crowed very early in the morning—bring earplugs!
All told, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the site to other large groups. :)

The beautiful countryside and peaceful atmosphere were so relaxing, and I loved being able to walk down to the river and through the meadow. No matter which site you choose, you'll be pleased!
