This is a secluded, Park Like property with walking trails all the way around it, and some interesting things for kids to spot, especially up Fairy Lane. Walking access is permitted, but you must keep pets on leash and keep an eye on your kids.
In the dry season, typically May through the end of September, fires are not allowed, and please USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU CHOOSE TO SMOKE ONSITE. If you are one of those who just tosses your butts in the underbrush, you will be asked to leave for the safety of our property and guests. There is no smoking allowed inside the cabin, bathroom, or anywhere near the sawmill, or any area North of it.
There is a public bathroom in the middle of the property beside the tree fort. It's well lit and open 24 hours a day. It has a flush toilet and a hot water sink and a HOT shower. * PLEASE NOTE To keep from freezing, the instant hot water heater is disconnected, and hot water, and hot showers ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM NOV 15TH TO MAR 1ST. Cold water to flush the toilets and wash your hands is available all year. You can use the discount code NOHOT To reduce your booking rate during those times
We try to keep rules to a minimum, but people seem to find creative ways to cause issues. Please park outside the yellow gate in the parking areas noted on the map. Please park on gravel and DON'T DRIVE OFF THE GRAVEL ROADS ONTO THE GRASS. Anita hates it, as you can cause a fire in the summer, and leave muddy ruts in the wet seasons. If you're driving through the trees, you're doing something wrong.
There is plenty of wildlife on the property especially in the couple hours before dark. Best place to spot deer, racoons, porcupines and beaver are down near the pond.

Camp on the edge of Forest Park and sleep underneath an evergreen canopy of Douglas fir and big leaf maple.
We have one large forest glade with room for several tents. We book only one group at a time, so you are guaranteed the place to yourselves. We can accommodate up to 15 people, with a max of 5-6 vehicles (parking is tight).
This is a hike-in only campground most suited to backpack style camping. The hike in has two short steep grade sections about 50 feet each. It takes 5-15 minutes depending on fitness level and load. This is not suitable for those with accessibility issues. Pack and dress for backpacking.

-Large fire ring with seating for 7-10 and cooking grate
-picnic table with seating for six

Parking is separate from the campground! It is a brief but steep 1/4 mile hike to get to the main campground and latrine. Bring hiking shoes and pack light. It takes most people 5-15 minutes to hike up, depending on fitness level and load size . If you want to car camp, you will be next to a road and separate from the latrine and fire pit.
Enjoy several short trails on the camp's property before heading to Forest Park's
Wildwood Trail, which is just up the street, or check out all of the incredible natural and urban nearby attractions in Portland.

This camper is new and well-stocked. It has heating and AC. The bathroom is small, but is hooked up to the city sewage. Note the bed is an RV queen size. Wifi is free. The camper is located between St Johns and Kenton in charming North Portland. It is safely located in the backyard of the property, and is surrounded by tall fences and shrubbery, allowing for absolute privacy. Beautiful yard with outdoor dining area and hot tub access (hot tub available starting September 2025). We are located a half a block away from the historic Columbia Park, with a long walking path through mature Doug firs, sports fields, pickleball courts and a play area/splash pad in the summer. There are many wonderful restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops located nearby. The neighborhood is safe and we have free parking. We are pretty quiet here:)

We have a fresh water hookup as well as one 110 extension power cable. If you request to use them. There is large grassy area for a tent or games. We also provide a picnic table that can accommodate 8 people.

Also, there are no camp fires allowed, the setting is heavily wooded and the fire danger is too high. Propane based cooking stoves are fine to use outside.
Dogies are welcome and need to be on a lead 100% of the time if outside.
We are located 10 minutes from Hillsboro, 30 minutes from downtown Portland, 5 minutes to North Plains and 3 minutes to two wineries - Helvetia Winery and Eagles Nest Winery.

We tent camped on Jerilyn's magical property and set up right next to the pond and firepit area. We had an amazing time and my two boys (ages 8 and 10) always had something fun to do. They loved the giant swing, the 3 trampolines, feeding the ducks, and playing with her adorable dog Coconut and the sweetest cuddly Siamese kitten Chanel! Jerilyn was always checking in, making sure we had everything we needed, and she even gave us some aloe straight from her plant after we got sunburnt during a river float. We would love to come back and visit again one day!

I had a lovely stay at Amy’s little cabin! It is a beautiful open grassy area with trees all around, quite private, the cabin is super comfortable, with windows all around so you have a great view out, see the deer come through in the evening, morning and evening sun. The outdoor shower is wonderful, plenty of hot water, especially at night with the stars out. Nice little out door kitchen and with some plates, silverware and French press if needed :) I would definitely love to come back.

Anna was wonderful. The land was beautiful. The spot was tucked up over a hill so you really didn’t see any homes felt like you were still camping was close to battleground Washington so if you needed any supplies restaurant entertainment, it was a short drive there. highly recommend.

Absolutely love Amy & Eric's tiny cabin. This made the top of our list of hip camps. The property was beautiful. The cabin was immaculate and designed beautifully. The outdoor shower and kitchen was amazing! The outhouse was nice and clean and doesn't smell. We saw a couple deer that went past the cabin, pretty awesome. Amy & Eric are wonderful, very responsive and accommodating. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. Will definitely return if the dates align.

This place is within the city limits of Portland so close to the amenities that comes with that. I felt safe here and found that I could rest comfortably here its far enough away from the road and It's not very busy so any street noise is minimal. I found a planet fitness so I showered there but a shower is available on site. I would recommend.

I absolutely loved Gabrielle’s farm! While visiting Portland for fabric shopping it was the perfect place to decompress after running all over town. There weren’t any events happening on the property while I was there so I parked in the vineyard parking rows nearer the barn on my second and third nights. This allowed easy access to the bathroom in the green house, which was wonderful. The property isn’t huge so accessing the shower/toilet is easy from anywhere. There was also a very clean porta potty near the standard parking as well. Even though you can see the planes they’re not noticeably loud at all! The cars were louder but not bothersome, especially at night. I slept soundly and will definitely stay there if I’m ever in town again!

This place is a sanctuary for bird lovers and wildlife ! Michelle was so nice and an amazing hostees ! Great for floating around the river and seeing turtles, deer, rabbits and many birds. Waking to the sounds of them chirping at 5 am was actually refreshing ! A great place for families. Not so sure about really young lads because of high drop offs & only way to access river is a steep floating staircase and dock. Definitely a camping destination and next time we are horseback riding. Just call them to schedule your ride while you stay !! Happy Camping 🏕☺️

It was lovely staying on Stuart and Anita's land. They were very responsive and helpful prior to me booking. The map was quite helpful (I do suggest adding where the trash is and maybe some little yellow flags to match the map for tent campers-but all not necessary). Their bathroom is so clean, stayed stocked with TP and paper towels and just a short walk away. Wonderful to have a shower and running water to wash up available. They were so nice to help my son park as well (teenagers, amiright?! :P). It was 4th of July weekend so we expected fireworks, which happened but not a lot. It was wonderful being slightly under trees but still able to see the stars so well. You can hear the freeway but you are just far away that it is white noise (I didn't even use my portable camping fan!). All in all will definitely stay here again. Their land is lovely, they are so nice, it is clean and quiet. Thank you both for sharing you little slice of mother nature with us! <3

The tiny cabin was very comfortable, clean and had the perfect amount of space and supplies.
The outside kitchen was convenient and easy to use. Loved the golf and axe throwing. Trails were close but didn’t get to take advantage as we had our older dog with us. Amy and her husband were quick to answer any questions. Will definitely return!

I loved all the amenities on this site - the swinging chairs, jenga, tic tac toe, handwashing station and the compost toilet. There was a propane fire pit due to the current burn ban. The entry is definitely steep, we managed a wagon up it but that was a bit difficult. Took about 5 minutes or less to walk up.
