Kelly and Randy were so attentive and sweet!! We had such an incredible weekend and I’m so thankful they shared their space and sweet animals with us. Weekend Trip to The Lookout at Mayfield Lake

This was the second time we stayed at The Lookout - and it was even better this time. The Spud airstream was fully loaded with everything we needed, including amazing snacks for our day hike. The dome offered amazing views of the lake and was a magical place to see the sun rise and sunset. This is our favorite place to stay when we plan to visit Rainier. Highly recommend!

Lovely campsite, river access is a nice walk away. Train tracks run along the back of the campground but wasn’t loud enough for it to be a problem. We would definitely be coming back next year. My only concern was the shooting that was happening off the river bank towards the evening, they left after a while but not something I’d want near us. Bathrooms were located all around the campground and very easy check in.

Kelly's Geo-dome was exactly as advertised. There were heaters inside, which we used this morning. My friend Darcy characterized it as, "better than glamping." The power shut off last night after we were already in for the night so it didn't impact us. This morning, we easily got the power back on. There were very friendly dogs and also goats with whom we didn't interact. We will definitely be back next!

Weekend Trip to The Lookout at Mayfield Lake

This was my second time camping at The Lookout and it was just as magical as the first time. Christie and Thane have really created a wonderful space that balances the outdoors and all the comforts of home. From the views to the outdoor shower, everything was great! The extra appliances in the airstream allowed for us to cook outside by the power pole and we really appreciated the 2nd fridge to keep everything cold so we didn't have to buy a ton of ice. We painted rocks as a family at the picnic table and enjoyed s'mores by the fire all while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake below. The everything down to the porta potty was so clean! And the touch of the panda drum, my entire family enjoyed playing it, it was the highlight of our trip!

The view is amazing! The geodesic dome is a nice little retreat space. The hosts are wonderful people who want to make sure you have a great time.

2 nights at Peace on Earth

We absolutely loved this spot - one of our favorite stays ever! It was exceptionally quiet, clean and cozy. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity of the property - sitting on the porch watching the sunset, listening to the crickets, and watching the friendly deer eat blackberries. The trails behind the cabin were lovely for a daytime stroll and lounging in a sunny clearing. Brian was such a friendly and welcoming host and made us feel comfortable and taken care of. We loved every second of our stay and cannot wait to come back!
