We built an all-season full capacity hot shower bathhouse with flush toilet, A-frame cabin, bigger electrical service, and wider road entrance for 30ft RVs, and Wi-Fi.
We are located 45 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park. Welcome to our small Farm, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Madison County, Virginia. Located just minutes from Shenandoah National Park, we offer intimate nature-inspired cottages and camping on our 120-acre working farm. We currently offer one cottage, glamping and a few campsites for our guests. Our campsites are all private, located acres apart with tables, chairs, firepits, some elevated sleeping areas, some hammock spots and a few with a roof. Three of our spots require walking away from your vehicle, short distances. We have four drive-in sites that will accommodate two or three vehicles. We do not allow RVs or trailers on our main farm due to our narrow mountain driveway. Wisteria Camp has a private driveway, it can accommodate small RV/Trailers. Camper vans are welcome at the main farm!
Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours.
The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries.

This was a 55-acre farm, split in half to accommodate a bypass through Charlottesville, so the previous owners had to give up half the land, and actually moved the house down to the other half of the property! They had to build a land bridge to get to the new home site, so they turned the bridge into a dam and created a beautiful large swimming pond, complete with beach and gazebo. My wife Stephanie and I bought the property in early 2017 and have turned it into a private horse farm, adding pastures, a riding ring, and 6-stall barn. There are ~21 horses who live on the property.

We have a level site to enjoy. Our farm is bordered on 3 sides by water. The campsite is located on Peters Mill Creek. The back of our property is bordered by passage creek. It offers peaceful and private fishing for trout, bass, suckers and several varieties of pan fish. Cool off in the summer with a dip in the cool clean waters or relax and read a book with the sounds of nature. You can enjoy the cows, horses and goats who love the attention! However we ask you let us know before trying to pet or interact with the animals because we do have a Livestock Guardian Dog inside the fence with them and she is very protective of her herd. In the spring and summer we offer for sale fresh eggs and organic produce to our guest. Our property is located in the heart of Fort Valley. We have miles of hiking trails all around. There are 2 horse back riding camps in the area to offer a beautiful view of our area on horseback. The activities are endless. Several excellent wineries are within a short diving distance. There is a fire ring at each site and we provide a free bundle of wood to each guest with more bundles available for $4 each. A porta potty is also located on the property for our guest. Please read the rules and recomendations posted at the site when you arrive. There is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. Although the creek is pretty shallow most of the time, we ask that if you have children, they are supervised at all times, especially around the water. We think you will love our little piece of heaven and we look forward to your visit!

We welcome guests to our charming location 1413 Cold Spings Road, Stuarts Draft, VA. Near Waynesboro. if you want to come during off season, contact us, perhaps we can host you. We are in a rural area, near a town, and on a lovely scenic road with no streetlight or stop lights. Near the Blue Ridge hills, Appalachian trail, Sherando Lake, several camp grounds, South River, many streams and some national forest.
We once had a large group of permaculture students that was very satisfied. We are developing in 2025 Lots of open here so campfires are ok.

Three of our spots require walking away from your vehicle, short distances. We have four drive-in sites that will accommodate two or three vehicles. We do not allow RVs or trailers on our main farm due to our narrow mountain driveway. Wisteria Camp has a private driveway, it can accommodate small RV/Trailers. Camper vans are welcome at the main farm!
Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours.
The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries.

This was a 55-acre farm, split in half to accommodate a bypass through Charlottesville, so the previous owners had to give up half the land, and actually moved the house down to the other half of the property! They had to build a land bridge to get to the new home site, so they turned the bridge into a dam and created a beautiful large swimming pond, complete with beach and gazebo. My wife Stephanie and I bought the property in early 2017 and have turned it into a private horse farm, adding pastures, a riding ring, and 6-stall barn. Cool off in the summer with a dip in the cool clean waters or relax and read a book with the sounds of nature. You can enjoy the cows, horses and goats who love the attention! However we ask you let us know before trying to pet or interact with the animals because we do have a Livestock Guardian Dog inside the fence with them and she is very protective of her herd. In the spring and summer we offer for sale fresh eggs and organic produce to our guest. Our property is located in the heart of Fort Valley. We have miles of hiking trails all around. There are 2 horse back riding camps in the area to offer a beautiful view of our area on horseback. The activities are endless. Several excellent wineries are within a short diving distance. There is a fire ring at each site and we provide a free bundle of wood to each guest with more bundles available for $4 each. A porta potty is also located on the property for our guest. Please read the rules and recomendations posted at the site when you arrive. There is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. Although the creek is pretty shallow most of the time, we ask that if you have children, they are supervised at all times, especially around the water. We welcome guests to our charming location 1413 Cold Spings Road, Stuarts Draft, VA. Near Waynesboro. if you want to come during off season, contact us, perhaps we can host you. We are in a rural area, near a town, and on a lovely scenic road with no streetlight or stop lights. Near the Blue Ridge hills, Appalachian trail, Sherando Lake, several camp grounds, South River, many streams and some national forest.

V's land was the perfect spot for our quick trip to Shenandoah! His instructions for getting there and what kind of vehicle needed were spot on and he was very communicative whenever I reached out. There was some firewood on site but I am not sure if it was left by last campers or him. We brought our own and used it as it recently rained when we camped. Beautiful fireplace and plenty of room to set up our tent, even though half of the area was a bit muddy from recent rain. It has a beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning and we were fortunate enough to wake up to snow our last morning there! Will definitely come back to this site if I get back to the area!

This is an amazing camp site. I should probably write out a bunch of bad things so people don’t come here but my goodness is this site awesome.
180° surrounded by a small river, large hills and rock outcroppings face one half while the other half is forested farm lands. The campsites to your left and right are far enough away that you don’t have to worry about other people being in your business. I car camped here during the snow storm of 01/2026 so the river was frozen over but I’m sure there are rock bass or even trout. Great spot… highly recommend… definitely coming back in the spring to try some fly fishing!

This campsite's location is great if you need a place to stay near the city. The campsite itself was spacious and relatively quiet. Unfortunately, one of the days was very rainy-- our tent flooded and we found it difficult leaving the muddy driveway. All in all, would use again, as long as, there is no precipitation in the forecast.

Graham was an excellent host and all 4 sites here are beautiful! We stayed at site 2 but since no one else was on site we were able to walk the rest of them too.
Site 2 is definitely the largest and most wide-open for multiple tents, we had 4, 6-person tents.
Graham communicated, brought firewood down twice for us, and all in all we felt like we were the only ones out there!
Beautiful spot and will definitely be returning!

Absolutely loved the place, we did a winter camping on site 1. There are total of 4 sites, initially used the directions from the app which actually is misleading, so please update it, use the address and instruction from the owner. Will be a beautiful place, it’s primitive camping, would be a great upgrade to put some toilet facilities. Will be definitely going back in spring to experience the river.

Private, quiet stream-front site. Our lab loved frolicking in the stream. Site was level and well-sized for my truck and camping trailer. In the summer, it would get a lot of sun over the southern ridge opposite the river, so solar collection would work. In November, sun was in short supply, and the sun angle was pretty low, so we just barely eked by. We bring our own bathroom facilities(Cleanwaste GO), but other campers who don’t want to be digging cat holes should be aware that there are no bathroom facilities if they are staying on site for a long time. Convenient to Old Rag for day hikers, and Montpelier for history buffs. No trouble with raccoons etc, but we kept our food secured just in case. Nice steel fire pit, which made cooking over the fire a breeze.

We absolutely loved this property! Beautiful views, very quiet, CLEAN and peaceful there is a gorgeous lake a short walk from camp site 1. Juan has beautiful horses on his property and they are so peaceful to watch. Water and electric hook up worked great, and our class A fit great and site was level. This location is about 1 mile off the main road we easily navigated down the dirt compacted/gravel road no issues. Again extremely quiet, just nature. Just 14 minutes to downtown Culpeper, charming downtown area, lots of shops, and diners. Walmart, Target, Martins, Lidl, and Lowes are just a few more minutes down the road. Can not recommend this camp enough, you will not be disappointed!

My friend and I brought our pups up here for a night and can’t recommend it enough. The site is private, close to a few wineries/breweries, and has great views. Be sure to follow the 4WD guidance - we didn’t have to use it but I can see how rain a day or two before could make for an interesting drive up. The leaves this time of year also made it a bit slick. Overall, the campsite was exactly what we were hoping for and we’ll be back if camping in the area again!
