Warm & Welcoming Farm Stay
We stayed here during the first week of May and had a wonderful experience. The family who owns the farm was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. They made us feel very comfortable and were happy to let us wander the farm and interact with the animals, which was a huge highlight for our two young kids. We camped with another family who also had young children, and everyone had a great time.
The campsite itself was very enjoyable, and having a composting toilet nearby was definitely a nice convenience.
A couple practical things future campers may want to know:
The campsite is about a one-minute walk from the parking area, including a small hill, so just be prepared if you plan to store food or gear in your vehicle during your stay.
Since you’re camping next to a working farm, expect animal noises during the day and occasionally at night as well.
There is also a road somewhere in the distance (maybe about a quarter mile away), and at night when everything else is quiet, you can sometimes hear light traffic noise.
Overall, we had a really fun and memorable stay and would absolutely recommend it to other families looking for a unique farm camping experience.
