The property is lined with massive cypress trees, a pecan grove, vast amounts of wildlife, and amazing starry nights perfect for stargazing, camping, swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking, tubing, and campfires. Choose from 9 RV spots, 25 tent camping sites with electricity, 50 primitive camping sites, van/car camping sites, many boondocking sites, 3 extra special primitive river side sites, and soon to come glamping sites. 7 RV sites come with full availability to 30/50 amp electricity, water, septic tank, picnic table, bbq grill, high speed wifi, and all sites come with access to amenities such as a resting pavilion with tables and furniture, clean restrooms, full hot/cold showers, large screen tv, cooling fans, outdoor cooking gas grills, Texas sized bbq smoker, dog park, games for kids and adults, a monarch butterfly sanctuary and a new organic farm in the process. Located on Ranch Road 1120, 5 minutes north of Garner State Park our property is the public access point for tubers and kayakers to jump in and float to Happy Hollow, Garner State Park, Neal's or Andy's. Rio Frio is 10 minutes south of Leakey and 10 minutes north of Concan away from lights and lots of noise. We embrace the Dark Sky pledge for stargazers seeking to enjoy the night sky, the Leave It Better pledge, ask that you Don't Mess with Texas, and ask that you treat others as you want to be treated. We have firewood available at discounted rates for larger bundles than stores. We please ask that you respect all wildlife as we are in process of becoming a monarch sanctuary.
