Everfree Shire Ranch is an 11 acre estate nestled between quite country houses and a very active horse ranch next door to the east. Rescue horses are also kept on the property in rotation. Much of the camping here is still a work in progress! So for now, a very private economical choice for campers! The central building has indoor lodging available and the side bathroom with indoor toilet / washer / dryer may be used by campers as well. A new outdoor shower is under construction. As of April 2024, the outdoor shower stall is 95% complete and usable but swimwear is required because we have not finished filling in the slots between the wood fence panels. Please ignore old photos of the shower tent. I'm working to remove them as I find them. The dump station is not available at this time pending reconstruction, hopefully in May 2024. Please use the free dump stations on I-35 near Natalia on either side of the highway.

Site 10: Gimli's Gate 15Amp Water
Horses and Stars
I love the camp. It's tucked away in the back behind the bamboo that hides the outdoor shower. I only wish it had solar heat. The cold showers are great in the sun. The horses regularly visit on the other side of the fence. We have water and electric. The tent area beside us on the other side of rope lights is close but no one has camped beside us. The views of the stars are amazing. We even got to see the huge comet. The bathroom is very near and includes a washer and dryer. There's parking a short walk around the house in front. The whole campground is themed. Each camp spot it's own. There's a fire pit and a table near parking that comes in handy. Overall a hip place. Thanks Mike!

This was such a lovely spot to stay, I would highly recommend, the host was so friendly and helpful, the amenities were awesome, and the site was easy to find :)

The beautiful horses and blanket of stars are great. Every camp gets a cool character and he is accommodating and very knowledgeable.

Camping with the Stars and Horses!
This place is getting improvements. Great concept and unique. Love the theme (LOTR) The host is great and very welcoming. We are tent camping and the view of the stars are absolutely stunning. We have lights alongside our tent area. There are horses that walk up to fence along our area. There is a fire pit available. Shower is available but only warmth is from the sun heating the pipe. There's an indoor restroom with laundry. Parking nearby with a short walk to camp.

Exceptional and calm place
Michael is an excellent host who knows how to take care of his guests. He took the time to remove all the weeds before we arrived. In addition, he installed a unique lighting system that is rarely seen in other campgrounds. I highly recommend!

Michael has a great camp, super affordable, and he's very accommodating. Everfree Shire Ranch is a place you can feel at home at and very relaxing. So whether you're looking for a weekend away from the city, a place to get back to nature, or alternative living style, Everfree Shire Ranch could be the place. O and did I mention, great amenities ☺️
