Off road wagons are provided to help haul your gear. Front pond camping areas are 30-100 yards from parking area. The rear pond is more secluded but farther from the parking and outhouse. There are four fire pits around the front pond and one next to the rear pond. The tiny handcrafted Hummingbird Tree House is perched on an elevated deck overlooking the front pond. and features a queen bed, a bed in the loft for two small kids, electricity, lights, fan, hummingbird stained glass windows, screened operable windows and a screened, operable porthole window in the kids loft. The deck has lights, tables and chairs and outdoor table and chairs and a thatch covered umbrella. There is no heat or AC in the tree house. You must bring your own sleeping bags, blankets and pillows. No food, smoking or pets allowed in the tree house. There is a rustic outhouse with a modern composting toilet, sink, faucet, lights, soap, etc. and a nearby cold water outdoor shower (no privacy), sink, counter and faucet. The camp grounds are very nice and fairly well thought out. A little difficult to know where to go but once you figure out the layout it's a little easier. I love that it was just a short walk from most of the campsites to the restrooms. A little more info about what to expect and also where the showers were located would help. Showers were fair except the wooden backsplash was kinda gross. Oh well. I'm just glad there were showers with hot water etc. Would def recommend and will def return

We were very close to the showers and the toilet. There was a large trashcan right at the campsite. Even though the hipcampers were relatively close to one another in proximity, the cedar grove of trees provided a lot of privacy, it was very peaceful and quiet the Sat night we stayed.

Weekend Trip to Llama Land Ranch

We had a wonderful time at Llamaland Ranch Judy was so welcoming and very responsive to our questions and requests. My daughter loved interacting with the Llamas and running around the big open spaces. We loved sitting by the fire and star gazing. We even caught a few shooting stars. The drive from Dallas was quick and easy. We will be camping at Llamaland Ranch again.

Weekend Trip to Texas Safari Camp

This was one of our best camping trips! My 7 year old grandson loved it. I felt safe about allowing him to be independent. The sites are beautiful. We stayed in the Tree House which was very quant and comfortable. Viewing the night sky from the deck was incredible. Rand is an amazing host! He is very friendly and informative. We would definitely do this again. My grandson said he can’t wait to bring his parents.

This place was awesome!! The land is well kept and waking up to llamas was absolutely magical! Judy was so sweet and met us super late at night to help us get settled! We had the best time.

My family and I had a great time! Rick was a perfect host. We mentioned wanting to do some fishing, so he put us near the pond. We were able to catch some decent-sized largemouth bass and bluegill. At our camp, we were visited by many of the animals roaming around. Willie and Doc really enjoyed hanging around our camp.

Such a fun experience camping with the llamas! We had a great weekend here, and the charcuterie board was excellent and the perfect lunch for us on Saturday. The owners are super helpful and friendly, and the llamas make it so fun.
