This is an amazing place to stay. Leslie & Shane are wonderful folks. I have stayed with them many times. I plan on staying with them again in the future. The camp sites are rustic, clean and spread out.

Hosts were friendly and communicative. Site was exactly as described, quiet and safe. Would stay again.
We didn’t actually stay at the Amber Groves campsite. We were coming in a day late due to trailer issues (which we messaged the owner about), and the lack of communication the following day meant we struggled to find the location (the gps took us to the wrong location and we couldn’t find the actual address to put it in manually) then when we did find it, we couldn’t find anyone to check us in (no clearly marked office or check in spot) and we had limited time to spend trying to get set up since we were running late so we left after about 30 minutes of trying to get help.
We ended up getting a last minute hotel because I wasn’t hearing from the owner over the four hour period we were traveling in and as we got there it was still raining (unexpectedly) so we were concerned about the dampness of the site (not the campground’s fault).
I did share these struggles with the owner and it sounds like they are considering trying to work things differently in future.
I wish I had a better report but that was my experience. Offering a partial refund due to the issues would have been a helpful touch from a campers perspective but I’m not going to push for it since it was a combination of things they contributed to us changing our plans, not just the difficulties in finding the location and checking in.
The area looked neat, like it’s a festival location. Very rudimentary but I did see bathrooms. Might be a fun camping spot!

Great host and great land! Everything felt very private and safe, for two girls camping alone we felt very comfortable. The property is beautiful and everything is super well maintained! The trees that separate the sites from each-other trees are dense which gives the feeling that you are super far away.
Leslie and Shane’s property was so great that we ended up extending our stay while visiting. When we got there we were met at the gate and given a tour of the property then were told to pick whichever spot we wanted. All of the spots felt very safe and super private and he even offered to bring a porter potty to our sight if needed. The walk to the bathrooms and showers was no longer than 2-3 minutes. He also has a saloon for charging anything that he allowed us to keep our plug in cooler in while we went shopping. Every sight has its own fireplace and there are trails all over the property that lead to unique things. The structures throughout the property are amazing to look at. This place truly is amazing and I would recommend anyone in the area looking for a campground, to stay here! There is also a few dogs that are super friendly and for us who are currently away from our pups at home this was a great experience to befriend and get some cuddles in!

I met Shane when I arrived..took me on a little tour. Very natural and rustic. The two dogs I met are very friendly and sweet. They come say hello and go on their merry way. It was just what I needed, quiet in the middle of a very quick paced community. Shane's a Rockstar. He even brought me a picnic table he and a friend had made. Made me feel like royalty. Thanks for everything Shane.
Loved it! The place is very welcoming and I loved how secluded each camp spot was. I really had my own space to do my own thing. They also have firewood! Only $10! I car camped and would’ve definitely preferred to bring a tent but I’ll save that for next time! I will most likely be back.
The camping area was clean, spacious and well-maintained, with fire pits and trash cans provided. With amenities such as flushing toilets and hot showers, we will definitely be returning, during Steampunk November (the event held near the camping grounds) and for other events nearby.

The camp grounds are very nice and fairly well thought out. A little difficult to know where to go but once you figure out the layout it's a little easier. I love that it was just a short walk from most of the campsites to the restrooms. A little more info about what to expect and also where the showers were located would help. Showers were fair except the wooden backsplash was kinda gross. Oh well. I'm just glad there were showers with hot water etc. Would def recommend and will def return
We were very close to the showers and the toilet. There was a large trashcan right at the campsite. Even though the hipcampers were relatively close to one another in proximity, the cedar grove of trees provided a lot of privacy, it was very peaceful and quiet the Sat night we stayed.

My third time at this location. It was clean and easy to access. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Such a great place to stay. I will definitely be staying again if I am in the area.
Unfortunately my hosts weren’t home and they had taken their Hipcamp out of the system for February but this was not activated by administrators. Never mind neighbors contacted hosts who were very concerned and happy to let me stay . The setting looks great but I didn’t check things out with the hosts being absent. I would go back . Hopefully I will get a refund from Hipcamp.
Amber Inn is the land of Steampunk November. A great place to camp for the festival.
Private, cozy spots to camp. Short distance to the bathroom.
This is a beautiful quiet place each campsite is nestled in trees separating one another. The bathroom and shower facilities are good the staff. is absolutely wonderful. RVs or tents they got you covered

Even though the sites on this property are somewhat close to each other the thick gorgeous cedar coverage give each site a secluded back country feel perfect for an awesome tent camping experience. The property itself is very well maintained and beautifully kept. Shane and Leslie are super friendly people and have put forth a tremendous amount of effort into making Cedar Groves of Amber Inn very inviting. I love this place and will definitely be back!

I have nothing but good things to say about Shane and Leslie! The campsite was beautiful and well maintained. There were many campsites to choose from, from large to secluded to easy access to the flushable bathroom!! The weather was not very favorable for our trip and upon arrival, Shane addressed the possibility of us getting stuck and preemptively offered to pull us out with his tractor if that happened! We enjoyed talking to both Shane and Leslie. They are fantastic hosts! We spent a bit of time chatting and getting to know them and the events they host throughout the year, but were also given privacy. We WILL be coming back!!
Camp grounds were perfect. Went for the eclipse and there were lots of friendly people there to witness the event. Although there were many camp sites there, it still felt private because of trees separating each site. There was bathrooms and showers so that was awesome. We stayed up by our campfire and the night sky was beautiful. Definitely going back!
