Llama Land Ranch

Property has been in family since 1987. The land has a rich history of wild boars and other wildlife. There is a live creek that runs along one of the property lines and is 50 ft deep.
 Pastures are mowed three times a year and always look beautiful. There is some
terrain that is rough and the land has not been traveled. Bring machetes and a compass (We are not a rescue team). The land is ready to be loved by our visitors.
The llamas will come to greet you and so will many more things in this wonderful place. We are conveniently located in a secluded area, but just a short drive from many local conveniences.
Come enjoy the beautiful landscape and make memories you can treasure forever.

We have private hot showers and restroom accommodations in our sixteen stall barn. Horse boarding available for an additional fee. B2 Ranch is a 1600 + acre working cattle ranch in Freestone County TX that consists of pastures, rangeland, woods and wetlands. Our goal is to sustainably run our beef cattle business in a way that is always seeking to enhance and improve the land as a whole. We sell pastured, grassfed veal and beef. It is located about 1.5 hours south of Dallas and 2 hours north of Houston. As a guest at B2 ranch you will have the opportunity to explore, hike, bike, kayak, canoe, fish, observe wildlife, or just relax. Also, the lake cabin is the only guest accommodation on the ranch, making it a true get away.The lake cabin at B2 Ranch&nbsp;is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin overlooking a 3 acre spring fed lake. The newly furnished cabin includes a king size bed, a pullout sofa, refrigerator with small freezer, microwave, tv with dvd player (no cable or satellite), and coffee maker with coffee. Linens, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner are also included. A fire pit with cooking grill is located just outside the cabin as well as a charcoal grill. It does not include a stove or oven.As part of your stay at B2 Ranch, you have access to 2 kayaks, a canoe and flat bottom boat along with paddles and life jackets. The lakes on the ranch are stocked with bass and open for fishing.When staying at B2 Ranch you are free to explore and roam the ranch. There are miles of roads and trails where you can see an abundance of wildlife. Guests have access to the 1600+ acre ranch for most of the year. From October through December guests' access may be limited to 200 acres that is immediately around the lake and cabin. Please message us for more information.

I'm NOT in the middle of nowhere, but my neighbors all have at least 3-5 acres.&nbsp; It's always quiet out here, except for the birds and occasional coyote in the distance.&nbsp; I have what Hipcamp calls a flexible cancellation policy.&nbsp; Simply cancel on the site 24 hours prior to your check in for a full refund.

Tara Vineyard & Winery estate

Peaceful, quiet, luxurious, historic, wine country experience. Tara Winery offers a unique vineyard and winery resort style experience. 

Discover Tara and the myths surrounding the secrets of the vines.

TARA was named after the sailboat TARA, pierce family started the vineyard in 2006 and opened the winery in 2007. The historic Murchison mansion is an iconic structure in the midst of the vines. Onsite tasting room and restaurant with share plates and full meals. In 2023, we have added a beautiful 50 ft pool with lovely water features, there is an activity fee to use the pool.  Please plan to arrive before dark, so you can get settled in the daylight.  We do not have 24 hour staff.

Camping throughout the Tara Vineyard property.&nbsp;&nbsp;We have primitive sites available&nbsp;in the wooded trail. If you would like a beautiful view of the winery property,&nbsp;ground camping throughout the vineyard is available and most popular&nbsp;!&nbsp;There is quick access to our winery and food service&nbsp;if you prefer to relax under our covered patio, or pick up a rib eye or filet&nbsp; from the chef and cook it yourself on your propane grill our our community grill. Enjoy your hand crafted estate wine from TARA winery while camping under the stars. You can be among others or select a remote location.  Fires permitted only in designed fire pits. No exceptions.  We have 2 bathrooms and a solar heated shower near the trail head, camping also available near vineyard.  11 a.m. to 4 p.m. is check-in time.
