The camping area up a bit above the riverbed has everything you could need- firewood, a fire pit, and a picnic table

It was very easy to drive our 21 foot rv straight into the campsite

The area around the river is lush and green, with hiking paths leading every way

Dead End Creek

South Texas off-grid camping at its most rugged. 

No running water, no paved roads, no electricity.... but you get total privacy! Get away from it all and pitch your tent, hang a hammock or boondock your camper van in total seclusion. Approximately 20 acres on a creek to explore with lots of curious wildlife including turkey, deer, and armadillos. Walking trails abound with 2 reservable campsites with firepits, and an unbeatable sunset view overlooking a quiet creek.  Contactless check in, unique gate code provided prior to arrival. Centrally located shared outhouse, just a 1-2 minute walk from any campsite.

Easily find your campsite with prominent signage.

Plenty of room to hang hammocks, or place a few tents under the oak canopy. Fire pit, grill, and a few stump seats make for a cozy fireside meal.

Watch the sun set over the creek with your best bud.

Large firepit for bonfires and a grill for cooking.

Creepy crawlies and pointy things abound.... watch your step!

For your enjoyment there is a shared dock on the Guadalupe River that makes for some relaxing fishing.  We are accustomed to the abundant wildlife that lives in the area.  It is not uncommon to see deer, raccoons, opossums, turkeys, fox, snakes, and other natural wildlife.  Come and enjoy some relaxing time with us.

Pitch your tent, pop your pop-up, or back up the van to the little mesa on the water. Pack-in, pack-out paradise for fishing, grilling, and sea-gazing.
Just under an acre of green grass flanked by trees on each side, on the shore of Lavaca Bay - a prime fishing destination for bay anglers.
The land is flat, 20+ feet above sea level, with plenty of room for camping and relaxing. Closer to the water, the land slopes down  a slope down to a small plateau on the shore with a bulkhead about 4-5 feet above the water.
The lot is in a small subdivision whose friendly neighbors enjoy a quiet working life or retirement.
