I have camped a lot but this was the best campsite I have ever stayed at. The location was gorgeous and was in perfect proximity to the Badlands, Wind Cave, Custer, and Mount Rushmore. There were so many amazing amenities included: showers (that were spotless), grills, gazebos, lawn games etc. We brought our own tent but Tammy also offers cabins and platform canvas tents which we hope to try in the future. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone. This made us hate all of our other camping spots on our trip.

My sons and I had the best time on Tammy’s land. She is a remarkable host and made sure all her guests were attended too. The facilities are excellent! Everything from the shower and bathroom facilities was first class. Very convenient for Mt Rushmore and Custer State park. Her dog Nisha is a wonderful ambassador!

We had a great experience with the perfect spot that backed up to the meadow with a beautiful sunset! All staff was very kind and they delivered ice and fire wood right to our campsite. Campsites each offered enough space from neighbors and the bathrooms were clean with hot showers. It was the perfect campsite for us!

My wife and I loved camping at Bear Den Cabins and Camp! We stayed in one of the cabins and it was great. Tammy was great host and very welcoming. The campground was clean and the bathrooms were spotless as well. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Weekend Trip to The Wilderness

We booked this last minute after spending a week wishing for a quiet camping experience. It was perfect! There had been some rain recently and the hill to the left was a bit washed out to try to get our rented van up it but we settled in the flat spot on the bottom of it. The road noise from the side by sides cruising by went on until 8-9pm but then quieted down. Caught a beautiful sunset and star gazed until the mosquitos found us! Would definitely recommend camping here.

2 nights at Bear Den Cabins & Camp

I’m not sure how you can top this location, but we’d like to see others try. The owners of the property are incredible and they offer every amenity you could possibly want or need. Location is conveniently located, private and very well kept. My daughter and I are traveling 10,000 miles around the west and we were so happy to enjoy a couple nights at this location. It’s a must go spot and I plan to return in the future.

Laure has a very beautiful property. We stayed at Site 3. This is a shared physical location with Site 1. Site 3 views of the sunset and later the stars were amazing. The gravel pad was very level for our campervan. I didn't have to make any adjustments. There are electrical and water hookups available if you want them. A very nice location for us to sleep. Close to our drive of Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway the next morning.

Book a peaceful and beautiful site on a private creek. The Redwater Revival Campground joined Hipcamp and was open during the 2020 summer season. Herb met and accommodated many wonderful guests and had a blast doing it. The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom. The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here. The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank. Please make sure that you stay with us for some very restful mesmerizing sleep along our part of the creek at the Redwater Revival Campground.
