Custer's Last Chance RV Park & Campground is about us and our dream come true. We spent 3 years putting a plan together so we could make the move to South Dakota. Finding the right piece of land wasn't easy and came with a few setbacks. We were lucky to find land in Custer with the French Creek running through the property. The creek features a couple of wide pools. The rest of the creek is fairly narrow with slow moving water. The kids will have a great time exploring the lower acreage. We plan to add new features & amenities to the park every year. Without you this dream wouldn't be possible. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Site 9 - Bumper pull/Class C
The owners are extremely nice. The campsite is located in a great area. My only complaint is they need to gravel the road and campsite. The road is dirt and they have put some mulch down at the camper spot but it is not enough. We got dust and mud every where.

Custer's Last Chance Tent/CarCamper
Absolutely amazing
We loved our stay at Megan and Dans campground! It was easy to find off the main road, yet peaceful. Megan and Dan went above and beyond to make us and our 5 kids feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. We were there over 4th of July, and they put on a bbq potluck for everyone, it was a great time! 5 out of 5 stars, would totally stay here again:)

Site 13 - Bumper pull/Cls C
On the edge of town, Custer. Bike/Walking trail access to town or Mickelson Trail. Host were great for providing help upon entry and provide directions and information on activities to see and do.

Site 12 - Bumper pull/Cls C
We loved camping here! Extremely convenient for our roadtrip from Reno, NV to WI. My husband & I wanted to spend a few nights in Custer to show our girls around. Easy access to the bike trail, going into town, & everything we wanted to see was within an hour. Megan & Dan were exceptional hosts. Really nice & thoughtful. We love what they’re doing with the place. We would stay again!
