Terri was a very friendly host. The cabin was clean and bed was comfortable. After a week tent camping in the black hills, we were happy to have access to the shower house. Very simple, but a great place to stay with 4 walls over your head and access to electricity and showers.

Very cute place! The campsite was quiet, peaceful, and definitely beautiful! Bed was comfy and there’s a fridge provided. Would highly recommend :-)

The Roundhouse was very clean and comfortable and sheltered us from those notorious SD winds. The location is convenient while still well off the more travelled highway routes. Bathhouse seems very new and was pretty clean. The RV park was generally quiet except for the wedding party Sat eve - be aware that there is an event space just adjacent to the Roundhouse, so your “campfire” area may end up being a parking lot for that! That took us by surprise, though fortunately the party ended by 10pm and didn’t keep us up. I recommend asking about events if booking on a weekend, otherwise would recommend.

Cabin is a good fit for some, but not for everyone. Our cabin wasn’t very clean. There was several empty soda cans under the bed and in the rafter. We appeared to be one of two groups there and out of the 20 something cabins available there they put us right next door to the other group. However, it had air conditioning and refrigerator which was much needed. Terri was very kind and responsive. If you want proximity to rapid city this would be a great choice. Overall it was an ok stay. Best for couples or friends get away. Would be a great place to stay during Sturgis Rally week.

Terri was so accommodating and helpful in our trip our to Yellowstone! We stayed in the silo house and it was perfect ans so adorable! Truly a one of a kind experience and next time we’re passing through we’ll be back to stay with Terri.

If you need a bed and walls to get out of the weather or just a place to sleep, this works just fine. It was clean, quiet and air conditioning! I'd use it again.

The accommodations were simple and very comfortable. It was a hot day when we arrived, and Terri turned the AC on some hours before we got there to make sure we had some relief when we checked in. The cabin itself is one of about fifteen or more, arranged in a semicircle next to a more open field area set up for campers. There were a number of other folks staying at the same time, but everything felt spacious enough to be semi-private. The doors on the cabins lock, which further ensured privacy. Each cabin also has a small porch in the front, which is perfect for a couple of camping chairs. Perhaps the best thing about the site, though, is the wonderful bathroom facility with showers, several stalls (and urinals on the men's side), and a lineup of sinks. All very clean and well-kept, and very close to the site. There's also a laundry room in the same building, though we didn't use it. Bottom line: great facilities, great price. Highly recommended!

I had a great stay in Primitive Cabin #1! Terri communicated all I needed to know ahead of time and responded to my texts within seconds. This cabin was just as advertised. Terri turned the AC on prior to my arrival which was a great touch after a long day of traveling. The cabin is close to the shower/bathroom. I was most impressed with the beautiful sunset! Be sure to arrive before the sun dips below the horizon and set up your lawn chair to enjoy! I will definitely stay here again.

Primitive, yes, but only because it was pretty small and basic. But above-average mattress, super clean, electricity and mini-fridge, and above-average shower house. Highly recommended!

This place was amazing! Never seen a better shower house for a hipcamp. AC worked great and the bed at cabin 1 was super comfortable. Appreciated the free laundry too! Throw some $$$ in the donation container! Met some great travelers too. Loved it.

We had plans to camp in the Badlands, but it was too hot for our dog, and with 60 mile an hour winds, we were not excited about tent camping. I was able to book this cabin on short notice. It was perfect for a quick place to crash for the night. The shower house was great, and the AC is a great touch!

A very relaxing stay, nice clean cabin, and full service facilities close to camp site. Terri was a very accommodating host, quick to respond, and very pleasant manner.

Terri was fantastic. She was incredibly friendly and helpful.
The round house is such a cool and unique place to stay! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and enjoyable to stay in. It was a little far to the bathrooms but with a little preparation that was no problem at all. I’d definitely stay here again!
