Amazing property and wish we could have stayed longer— I really did not want to leave! Tammy is so warm and helpful plus that along with the tranquility of her property made it an incredible experience!

This is a great campsite with its view over Sturgis. They offer variable parking for RVs, tents, or just let you go old school sleeping out under the stars. The owners were friendly and helpful in making sure if I needed anything. Don't forget to mark this spot on your road map.

We loved camping on Tammy’s land! There were some other families and couples nearby and it was nice to meet everyone else at the campsite.

The camp hosts were the BEST!! So lovely, kind and communicative. Picked a tent site up on the hill overlooking the town and it was beautiful. The bathrooms and showers were very clean too!

The atmosphere is calming and peaceful, away from any hustle and hustle of tourism. Bears Den is less than an hour from any popular attraction in the area, including Mt Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial. Available are some canvas tents, set up like a bedroom at home. Also available is a small cabin, as well as sites to set up your own tent. I was able to use my hammock, with a few trees close enough to do so, in my tent site. Tammy is very warm and welcoming Hostess. She'll do anything within her power to make you feel more comfortable. She helped make my South Dakota visit the best I could imagine.

Minutes from the Badlands. Beautiful walking trails right off the campground. Shower rooms with plenty of space and hot water. Camp store was well stocked.

An excellent RV resort campground. It has everything you need plus! Conveniently located right on Rte 16 just a few miles off of I-90 and close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and downtown Rapid City. A great place to stay, wish we had more than one night.

We enjoyed our stay in Bear Den’s glamping tent so much that we extended our vacation an additional day. Tammy is fantastic and her place is quiet and beautiful. She has included everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay. We loved the stars at night.

This place was amazing! It is set a top of hill overlooking the town of Sturgis with views and all directions. The owner is a very congenial guy who came out to greet us. I would highly recommend staying here!!

1 night at Sturgis View Campground

The location is good. It is near Sturgis downtown. It has a nice view. It is on top of a hill so you can see the entire town from above. The cottage where we stayed was cute and spacious. It could fit four people. The cottage had a microwave oven, a small fridge, and a table and chairs, which made it convenient for a short-term stay. The price is good it comes with a shower, bath bathtub, and a bathroom. The site is clean and well-maintained. The staff is nice and helpful.

The location is only minutes from the park and the visitor’s center. Bathrooms and showers were clean, plenty of hot water. Campsite was well stocked - even with local craft beers! What more could you expect.

PERFECT LOCATION! Super easy to access and has laundry, bathrooms, nice shower rooms, cute shop, and GREAT VIEW!

4 nights at HTR Black Hills

Clean and well laid out campground. Everything is tucked in the trees, so plenty of shade. Lots for kids to do with mini golf, bags, pool, and live music Friday evenings. This was a solo trip, but will definitely be bringing the family back!

We stayed in the glamping tent! It was so cute and well laid out! The rainfall shower was relaxing and had the best water pressure. The description of the tent said one queen bed and one twin over full bunk- it was definitely twin over twin so max stay would be 4 people. And I know it’s outside and camping but there were a ton of spiders:) No complaints as it is camping but it surprised me how many of those little guys made their way in to the tent! The campground was clean and so many things to do including swimming, hot tub, jumping pillow, horseshoes, mini golf, live music and food truck on Friday night. The campground does sit on a busy highway so the pool and golf area are a bit noisy- the campsites close to the road would likely hear traffic noise as well. The glamping sites are in back of the park and very quiet with a nice forest view. It was really close to a ton of area attractions- we did Bear country 2 minutes away, Cosmos mystery area 10 minutes away, Mount Rushmore 20 minutes away, and Custer State Park about 35 minutes away! 10 minutes to Rapid City businesses if you need groceries or forgot something.
