Pooh's Corner lies in a rural area just 1.5 miles from Watkins Glen. (3315 County Road 28, Watkins Glen, NY 14891). We took great care to make sure each campsite is PRIVATE (parking on-site*) and the trails are easily navigable. Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis.
There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. Enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and many historical sites to see. Our reviews tell it all. We know you'll love it here :)
*PLEASE NOTE: Our sites are custom made for TENT or CAR camping. Because we have "parking on-site", Large RVs, Campers (over 16'), and any 5th-wheel campers are very difficult to place since there are no easy ways to back in or turn around. We highly recommend "Havana Glen State Park" (same general area) for those types of camping units.

There is a cozy, 'treehouse-like' lofted full-sized bed, and a couch below that can open into a bed. There are lots of big windows to let in natural light, fresh air, and beautiful forest views.
This cabin has electricity and Wi-Fi included, as well as access to potable well water close by (as long as temperatures are above freezing).
This tiny home has NO indoor plumbing.
This tiny home has no shower facilities at this time (outdoor shower is pending).
There is a private outhouse for your use, a separate structure close by with a composting toilet (basically a bucket with a sawdust system). If this is something that may make you uncomfortable, this space may not be a good fit for you.

Although our check-in process is generally to go straight to camp, if we're onsite, we do offer the option of a meet and greet. For Holidays and Special Events, we do require a 2-night minimum stay, there will be a cost of $20 for each additional Hipcamper and we operate under a SUPER STRICT Cancellation policy.
For non-Holiday/Special Event weekdays, we offer a 20% discount.
We limit to what we believe suitable the number of Hipcampers at each of our campsites. If, however, you are interested in adding to the limit, please feel free to contact us beforehand.

This is our original campsite--which began our Oh! Pear camping legacy. The campsite is a short walk downhill from where you park (please refer to the short video provided, when booked, for more information) and it is remote. Rugged, majestic, and serene sites (3) are spatially set alongside the picturesque stream. Each site is outfitted with a Big Horn 47" Wood Burning Ranch Fire Pit (with grill grate), a picnic table and the potential for an outside adventure. Bounded on one side by an escarpment and on the other side a mountain, this campsite is irrevocably secluded--and has been voted the #1 Hipcamp site in PA and in the nation--as evidenced by the nearly perfect positive reviews from those adventurers who have stayed here.....and our many repeat Hipcampers.

Plenty of room for your dogs to run. All 3 sites have elect extention cords strung to them providing 15 amp 115v electric Wood fire pits at each site with wood available for purchase. All sites have string lights and picnic tables. There is sold ground for a small size camper or any size tent. The lookout tower us for all to use.
I am 25 minutes from Wellsboro PA and the Pa Grand Canyon with a 62 mile rail trail, bike and kayak rentals are 40 minutes away, one hour to Finger lakes, locally there is lots of hiking, fishing and exploring. 4 wheel drive maybe needed in winter for my driveway.

We have 10 forested hilly acres 12 miles from Ithaca. We’ve built a camp with a yurt with a foam floor that sleeps a family of 4. Bring sleeping bags and pads or you have an air mattress you can blow up inside the yurt that is fun. in the photo s you will also see a dry lean-to with a double bed platform inside to put your sleeping bags or air mattress or to put supplies off the ground to keep dry. Also lots of room for tents. The campfire has a grill to cook over a wood fire, 2 benches & Adirondack chairs, a hammock and a picnic table. There’s also a fun homemade swing & seesaw. There are many marked walking trails around our land to enjoy. There is access to well water. Dry cut Firewood is available for $7 a bundle at the property or you can add extras with booking for $7.70 per bundle. Portable toilet outside & outdoor hot water shower.
It is very quiet here. We are close to Treman, Buttermilk And Taughannock State Parks which all have swimming. Watkins Glen State Park and racetrack is half an hour away. 150 breathtakingly magnificent waterfalls in this area. Great hiking. We are 14 miles from Cornell University and 10 miles from Ithaca College. We are between two finger lakes, Cayuga and Seneca, there are 60 wineries and breweries around the lakes. Woman’s Rights National Museum in Seneca Falls, Corning Museum of Glass is fabulous. Ithaca has theatres, many museums & lots for kids to do. Pooh's Corner lies in a rural area just 1.5 miles from Watkins Glen. (3315 County Road 28, Watkins Glen, NY 14891). We took great care to make sure each campsite is PRIVATE (parking on-site*) and the trails are easily navigable. Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis.
There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. Enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and many historical sites to see. Our reviews tell it all. We know you'll love it here :)
*PLEASE NOTE: Our sites are custom made for TENT or CAR camping. Because we have "parking on-site", Large RVs, Campers (over 16'), and any 5th-wheel campers are very difficult to place since there are no easy ways to back in or turn around. We highly recommend "Havana Glen State Park" (same general area) for those types of camping units.

This cabin has electricity and Wi-Fi included, as well as access to potable well water close by (as long as temperatures are above freezing).
This tiny home has NO indoor plumbing.

The campsite is a short walk downhill from where you park (please refer to the short video provided, when booked, for more information) and it is remote. Each site is outfitted with a Big Horn 47" Wood Burning Ranch Fire Pit (with grill grate), a picnic table and the potential for an outside adventure. We have 10 forested hilly acres 12 miles from Ithaca. We’ve built a camp with a yurt with a foam floor that sleeps a family of 4. Bring sleeping bags and pads or you have an air mattress you can blow up inside the yurt that is fun. in the photo s you will also see a dry lean-to with a double bed platform inside to put your sleeping bags or air mattress or to put supplies off the ground to keep dry. Also lots of room for tents. The campfire has a grill to cook over a wood fire, 2 benches & Adirondack chairs, a hammock and a picnic table. There’s also a fun homemade swing & seesaw. There are many marked walking trails around our land to enjoy. There is access to well water. Dry cut Firewood is available for $7 a bundle at the property or you can add extras with booking for $7.70 per bundle. Portable toilet outside & outdoor hot water shower.
It is very quiet here. We are close to Treman, Buttermilk And Taughannock State Parks which all have swimming. Watkins Glen State Park and racetrack is half an hour away. 150 breathtakingly magnificent waterfalls in this area. Great hiking. We are 14 miles from Cornell University and 10 miles from Ithaca College. We are between two finger lakes, Cayuga and Seneca, there are 60 wineries and breweries around the lakes. Woman’s Rights National Museum in Seneca Falls, Corning Museum of Glass is fabulous. Ithaca has theatres, many museums & lots for kids to do. Great place! Really well-maintained and clean, it's clear that Alicia takes a lot of pride in this property. Very close to the road, but very little traffic so it feels private. As someone who exclusively boondocks, having the 30 amp service was a real luxury! No joke about the lack of Verizon service though - make sure you pay for the Wi-Fi box unless you have T-Mobile or AT&T. Looking forward to coming back.

Host wasn’t home, but left good instructions, and was good at responding to questions. I had no problem finding a level spot. Didn’t get a chance to see much due to the first good rain in weeks. Would go back, if for no other reason than to see the view from the tower.

I had a great time camping at Eeyore’s Den. There was plenty of privacy and space between sites. Matt was super nice and showed me around the grounds. The charging station was very helpful as well.

We brought our motor home and the pad was perfectly sized for even a large trailer. It was quiet and tranquil. There were plenty of fish to catch in the lake and Alicia’s selection of boats will fit any experience level.

We spent 2 nights and had a nice stay. It was cooler weather so not many people camping, nice and quiet. Rus who manages the campground was awesome. Friendly, helpful, fun guy.
Some feedback for the Hipcamp listing, all we got was an address which lead us to a cabin a mile or so away from the actual site. We had to knock on someone’s door to get help figuring out where to go. I had messaged the host early in the day to let them know when we’d be arriving. No response.

Had such a lovely stay with Jackie and Chris. Not only were they super accommodating of our last minute booking, they moved our campsite to one safer and dryer in the weather. We spent a beautiful cozy night despite the rain, we even got to have a little fire before it got too wet! Wood bundles for purchase are large and generous. Got to meet both Chris and Jackie and felt like we'd known them for years. Highly recommend this sweet little spot-- we'll be back!!

I arrived late, but Matt and Sheryl were so welcoming and helpful, I felt comfortable right away. Very easy to communicate with. Nice, private, flat place for a little car camping overnight. Just right.
